I see you brought a copy of the book as a reference while waiting for us, eh?" John said, "Ye got that right! In fact, I own this as part of my collection." Laura replied, "Very cool, uncle John!" Pattie added, "I'll say! This project is sure to be just as fun as when we recorded 'Yellow Submarine'." George said, "My thoughts exactly, sweetheart!" Paul asked, "Well then, are you ready to get it started?!" Laura said, "Ready as we'll ever be, uncle Paul!" The couple nodded in agreement. Ringo said, "Okie dokie! Bring it on, me chaps!" Sparkie made a noise that sounded like he was saying, "Yeah!" After turning everything on and doing a little microphone test, the Beatles, Laura, and Pattie kicked off the audio drama with John delivering the opening lines: "Warmest Season's Greetings to all of you, Beatle people! We hope you're having a grand time with the holidays as we are! For this year's message, we present to you a retelling of 'A Christmas Carol' by a famous author whose last name is Dickens. So sit back, relax, and enjoy!" With that, the story came to an official start, and Laura also began to imagine how their roles would take action.
