Okay, so this isn’t going to be a long, full of theories article. It's just going to be short, sweet, and honestly, kind of stupid. It’s mainly just for discussion of a little bit of information…Hazel, Hazel, Hazel…

Name: Hazel Levesque
Gender: Female
Eyes: Golden, like 14 karats
Hair: It’s long, curly and brown and I keep it glossy with jasmine shampoo.

Hometown: New Orleans but I moved to Alaska on my thirteenth birthday.
Loves: Riding horses, art, and the sun since I spent so long without it in Alaska. And I’m also pretty talented when it comes to manipulating dirt…
Favourite comfort food: Shrimp gumbo.
Crush: Crush?! Ok, on Frank maybe but he doesn’t know!
Weapon: Spathaâ€ a calvary sword.
Hates: Boats as I get so sea sick. Oh, and curses.

So, that tells us a lot. Just some things to spark ideas and think about:

-Golden eyes? Hmmm, sounds interesting does it not?
-Lived in Alaska at one point (cough*cover*cough) Just a thought…
-Horses…I don’t why, but I think it’s important, even if we already knew that…
-Manipulating dirt? Now there’s a shocker. The only ones that come to mind with that are Gaea, Trivia, other minor Roman gods. The big and obvious question is: How can she manipulate dirt? Think about it…
-Hates boats? Well, a definite opposite of a certain son of Poseidon we all know and love. Yet she loves horses…hmmmm…
-And hates curses. Again, Trivia comes to mind. Or maybe she’s just had bad experience with them…who knows...

There are other things to wonder about, of course, but those are just some main points.
So yeah, just some things to speculate on. Of course, we don’t actually have her character art and info on the HoO website yet, but this is a start.

HecateA Hmmm... Interesting... You know, I think Hazel might be French or Acadian or some heritage like taht. There's a French part of Louisianna, and her surname is French so maybe (hopefully). And she moved to Alaska when she was 13... That's a demigod age, isn't it? Maybe she was running from something. And I think she's in a cavalry unit at Camp Ceasar Salad. Either way- Hazel's something and you just proved it- thanks Per!

Jason's godly parent theory

Jason knows the Roman name for storm spirits and satyrs, demigods (as far as I know) use the greek names for gods, monsters and what not. So what if his godly parent was a Roman god, one with out a Greek equivalent. I did the research and sadly all Roman gods have a Greek equal.
My next theory was that Jason's godly parent is the patron god/goddess of Rome or that they have something to do with Rome. These are the possibilities (If you believe my theory)

Ares- Ares is considered the patron god of Rome because he was the father of Romulus who was the founder of Rome.- I don't believe this is...

Who is Sammy Valdez? Who is Leo Valdez, really?

My friend and I had some theories about who Sammy Valdez, the boy from Hazel's past is, and what his relationship to Leo is. There must be one, because they look EXACTLY THE SAME! We had a few theories:

1. Sammy Valdez is actually Hephaestus.
2. Sammy Valdez is actually Poseidon.
3. Sammy Valdez is Leo’s grandfather on his mother’s side.
4. Leo is Sammy Valdez reborn from Elysium.
5. Leo is Sammy Valdez brought back from the dead by Hera.

My theories are #3-5, my friend thought of #1-2.
