Perseus Jackson.

Son of Poseidon.

Bearer of the curse of Achilles.

Child of the prophecy.

He had trouble everywhere he went. Bullies, annoying redheads,blood-thirsty cannibals, the usual. The prophecy is over, but the boy's still a demigod, he's still training at camp Half-Blod and heck, he's still Percy.

Talk that Percy will pass behind the veil, kick the bucket, push up daisies, or whatever you want to call it is going around on this fan pcik of this spot:

Do you think Percy Is going to die in one of the five books sense he isn't the main character anymore?

Most think that Rick wouldn't have the heart to kill Percy. I mean common, look at him!(there's a picture right there, ^, yup, above)

I disagree.

I'll explain, as a writter-trainee/wannabee myself, why I would kill a character.

Books carry a message. Love conquers all, loyalty is paid back, good triumphs over bad, all those. But sometimes, books need to be realistic. Out of all the main cast of Percy Jackson, very few died. We have Beckendorf, Silena, Michael Yew, Lee Fletcher and Luke (Michael and Lee being negotiatable). Annabeth nearly dies, everybody does or is, at some point, injured, but most of them manage to tuff it out. I'm not saying this because i'm heartless and don't care about the other deaths; Daedalus, Castor and all, I'm saying it because there deaths weren't heartbreaking to most of us.

Try to follow as my subject changes.

Threw Percy Jackson and the Olympians, we've been threw a whole wack-load of emotions.

We were shocked when Percy was claimed.
We were surprised when Luke turned evil.
We were worried when Grover went missing.
We nearly dropped the book when Thalia returned.
We compeltely and utterly freaked out when Annabeth went missing.
We went "ooohhh, not good" when Nico banished the skeletons.
We wondered how Kronos got into Luke.
We felt sorry for Luke.
We thought Annabeth was cute as a 7-year-old.
We felt like something was dying inside when we thought Percy would.
We were angry with Kronos when everybody died.
We panicked when we thought Annabeth was next.
Some of us cried for Luke.
Others for Beckendorf.
We awed when they kissed.
And laughed when they got dumped...

The one feeling we don't explore in here: is serious, heart-breaking, applies-to-everyone grief. Some of us never admired Beckendorf, some of us were too mad with Silena to care, some of us just saw Luke coming. But every single person that got this far into the article, will be sad, and possibly shed a tear, if Perseus Jackson dies.

Will Rick trigger with one of the worst human emotions to feel? It's playing with fire. If he does, he will get dissed on fan sites, he will have fans mad at him. It's his story, his plot, his rules; and I think Rick is the kind of writter strong enough, and proud enough of his work to ackoledge and play by those rules.

Would he ruin Percabeth for it? Hmm... Maybe. What do you want me to say? It's Rick! I don't know a thing about what's going on in that man's head!

Second point, what if Percy doesn't die? What if somebody else close to him dies? Grover? Annabeth? What about our new trio? Leo, Jason and Piper?

I'm not saying I'll agree if Percy dies. Le contraire, my friend. I will yell and alert my relatives, making them believe someone just broke into the house, and I might even cry (which for me is a lot).

Now comes the factual evidenc eof this article.

On the US cover of the Lost Hero, we have a dragon. As you all should know, Percy and dragons don't exactly fit well together. 3 things I could deduce from this cover:

1. Percy is flying near a very old and beautiful building near a river. Would Percy be kept in the river? In my opinion it's a sure-proof way to have him escape. But, seeing as he's near a river, and the best to fight in a watery enviroment: it is posible that Piper, who is looking ove rher shoulder, is looking at Percy fight. Why would they be leavign without him? Maybe they aren't, they're just flying over him.

2. If they are, it was because Percy told them to leave him.

3. Remember how Hephaestus and Daedalus made bronze animals that flew and acted on their own? Yes, I am thinking the dragon is one of them, maybe not built by the god himself, but working on the same concept. Here's the thing: if there's one thing that would click less well with then Percy then a dragon, its an automaton dragon (amongst others). Automatons have minds of their owns, can't really be controlled in any safe way (Bianca going in Talos is not safe).
BAM
Thing sees Percy and it'll all go downhill from there.

Now for the easy part: Percy is kidnapped. That is NEVER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE GOOD, DEMIGOD OR NOT. Especially if you're a demigod, because they tend to get kidnapped by meaner, bigger and stronger things. This theory is self explanatory.

I' getting depressed with theories like this, so I'll just stop.

I'm not sure what will happen in Lost Heroe, nobody on this spot should.

I just have this bad feeling that Percabeth will be torn apart the hard way...

Here is a story of how the young son of Hades overcomes great challenge, his button! Major OOC, and ridiculousness, I don't own anything, well, I own some stuff, but not Nico di Angelo or anybody else

Once upon a time, there was a young boy of the age of thirteen, of his name was Nico di Angelo, and upon the day of November the fifth the boy lay in his bed in his cabin, staring at the ceiling in a bored fashion. He decided to eat a pie, but on that very day, he had no pie, so he was to venture to the Hermes Cabin, where a new shipment of pies had arrived.
But alas, it was a chilly November day,...

Never mind the title, it's a popular French song that my friends had in their heads recently. If you're really interested here's the link, but it's really not necessary for you.

What is necessary is the checking out of Ella the Harpy on the Heroes of Olympus website! Actually, not even that, because here is the info!

Ella the Harpy

This is not your typical ridiculously skinny half bird half woman. Ella the Harpy is more than meets the eye, and a very useful ally for demigods Percy, Hazel, and Frank.

What does she do? If an encyclopedia could take the form of a woman (or bird), it would be Ella....
