Stefan and Elena

First I would like to say I don't want to spark a war. I just want to explain why some of the anti-bamon reasons confuse me. And second I actually do like Delena but Bamon appeals to me more.

I hear lots of anti-bamon arguments, and I won't to defend the main ones.

1. Bamon will never happen on the show because show Bonnie isn't book Bonnie.
- That makes no sense to me because sure it's true...BUT show Elena isn't the same as book Elena, I can tell because I don't hate her. Book Elena is superficial and selfish. She is just like Katherine. And show Elena is different which I like. Plus, I could...

So I've only been a member of Fanpop for like a month, and lately I guess I've made it my mission to better the clubs I'm apart of; especially the TVD clubs cause they're my favorite! Anyways, something I've noticed is that there always seems to be fighting between one ship or another, wether it's Delena, Stelena, Bamon, Klaroline, or Forwood. And honestly, I feel it needs to stop.

Don't get me wrong, I don't see anything wrong with a little competitive rivalry, but some people just go on, and on about how they hate this couple or how their couple is just the over all best... Really? What are...

I LOVE both characters. I may not agree with every decision he makes, but Damon is easily my fave character. I absolutely adore Elena and she comes in a close second.

I find her very underrated amongst the fandom and it’s perhaps because she has no supernatural powers (considering how nobody gave a shit about Caroline till season 2.) But I actually find her more interesting and more complex than someone like Katherine. This girl carries the weight of the world on her shoulders. So, actually, if I'm being honest, most of the DB fans just can't understand that the books and the show are two completely different things. Probably they can't accept that and never will. I'm not a fan of the books, so I don't know their dynamics, though I do know that in the books DB have this sort of connection and thing for each other. Well, okay..but in the show? ROFLMAO much? I even understand that it has to be a big pain in the ass not...

I’ve heard quite a bit about Katherine only wanting Damon for the challenge – and, I’ll admit, Katherine likes playing games with Damon a lot more now that he gives as good as he’s getting – but I see some…not-so-crackfic changes in Katherine’s behavior that, to me, say a bit more.

Looking at Katherine in 2x01 – 2x17, you can easily see that Katherine always has a plan to save herself, and that plan comes before anything and everything. She taunts Damon, insults him, mocks him – anything she can do to get a bad reaction and get him to believe she’s telling the truth. Now,...
