Dorthy Gale is #ActuallyAutistic! The opening scene involves her being unable to figure out a different route home to avoid Toto getting into Miss Gultch's garden may be out of strict adherence to routine. She can take the time to understand the TIn Man is saying "Oil Can" implying her own speech was once more impaired The Cowdery LIon's roaring is loud to Dorthy, but she overcomes sensory overload by protecting Toto. She is able to use this skill later when talking to the Wizard Dorthy is unable to plan to escape the Wicked Witch' of the West's Castle by herself, due to Autistic burnout, once her male friends help her though she is able to return the favor. When the balloon takes off without her she is able to get home following the direct instructions of Glinda. OZ is NOT ABA but rather integrates Atisum into OZ itself!
