Rose was asleep on Jack's chest, while Jack was gently stroking her hair. He then noticed lights in the distance.
"Rose, Rose, look." he whispered in her ear. "What?" Rose asked, a little groggy. "Look Rose, there are the lights, we're in New York!" Jack said with excitement in his voice. "We are? We are!" Rose said, waking up.
"Come on, let's go get a closer look." Jack said , taking Rose to the side of the ship.
"Jack, look at it, it's so beautiful." Rose said hugging Jack's side. "Rose, that coat is soaked! You should take it off." Jack took off the coat, when he put it on the ground, it made a 'Thump'. Jack picked up the coat and felt inside the pockets, in one of the pockets, he felt something hard, when he took it out; The Heart of the Ocean was in his hand.
The door to the newly bought house opened. "Jack, is that you?" Rose asked.
"Yes." Jack answered as he hung up his coat, taking a red velvet box out of one of his coat pockets and stuffing it in his pants pockets. He walked up to Rose grabbed her waist, and turned her around so he could see her face, and kissed her passionately . "I love you." he said. "I love you too. Go in and sit down, dinner'll be ready in five minutes."
"Do you want me to set the table?" Jack asked, trying to help.
"How about tonight we eat in the living room at the coffee table?" she suggested.
"That would be great." Jack walked into the living room, and went to the hallway closet to grab a red cloth and candles. He took the books off the coffee table and placed them on the floor then he dimmed the lights.
"Dinner is- Oh my God Jack! Did you set all of this up yourself?" Rose placed the plates of chicken on the table, ran up to Jack and put her arms around him. "I can't believe you did this for me!" she said kissing him. "Now let's eat!" Rose sat down next to Jack.
They finished their supper after thirty minutes. "How was it?"
"Delicious. It was wonderful."
"Well I better get started on the dishes." Rose said as she was getting up
"Wait! Rose, I have something I want to ask you." Jack said as he knelt down, taking out the red velvet out if his pocket. "Rose, I've only known you for five months now, and ever since the moment I met you, I loved you. You're amazing and I can't hold this on any longer, so Rose, will you marry me?" he opened the box revealing a 14 karat diamond ring.
"Oh my God Jack, yes!" she said, shedding tears as she got down on her knees and went to Jack, then the two shared a passionate kiss. "You jump I jump, right?"
"Right." Jack replied as he passionately kissed his fiancée.
