He loved me.

My heart swelled as these words slowly made their way up to the most tingly depth of my mind, one by one. He loved me! He really loved me! He was the most beautiful thing in the world, in my eyes, ‘cuz you know, I have really good eyesight. I don’t know if I really believed it or not, but something in my head forced me to repeat the words he said, outloud, in my stupid, way-too-raspy voice.
“I love you.” My heart lurched as I heard myself say those three words in a voice that wasn’t quite mine. “Really, I do.” My heart was swelling with pleasure and a tingly sensation...

Of course I couldn't concentrate in gym. One: There's no point in concentrating when you know you're gonna fall flat on your face, and two: My mind was still buzzing.
Which I still didn't quite understand. My mind didn't usually react like that. I mean, our school may be small, but we didn't lack in cute guys. Trust me. I know. But, I also hadn't dated any of them... which may be why I don't know much on the subject.
I changed back into my normal outfit, and rushed to second period, zipping in the door as the final bell rang, and taking a seat just as Mr. Hank, my Calc teacher, walked inside....
