One dark and cloudy night, a couple of werewolves howled, awakening more and more werewolves. They set a curse upon the world that would destroy all humans. The people of the world had hunted millions of wolves, a great number of them werewolves, and as a result, had killed millions of werewolves. Now, the werewolves were seeking revenge.
As Byron woke up on a foggy morning, he was alarmed by the sound of wind rushing by, followed by loud howls. But as he looked out his bedroom window, he saw nothing. Byron raced downstairs, and seeing his parents were asleep, he went outside. Byron was ten, and an unusual boy, who often enjoyed daydreaming about werewolves, zombies, ghosts, and other peculiar creatures in school. He often got yelled at for it, but he never understood why, not ever in his life yet.
Byron walked over to the dusty movie theater, covered in cobwebs. No one was there, but a faint green light glowed from the windows there. He decided to look again late tonight. As Byron was walking home, he felt a hand tap his shoulder. It was Mrs. Zapatio, a mysterious, old lady.
Mrs. Zapatio whispered, “Come here, Byron. There’s something you need to see.”
Byron followed Mrs. Zapatio into her house. She immediately opened a musty old book titled, The Darkness of the Universe.
Mrs. Zapatio said, “A long time ago, before you were even born, a terrible darkness already took over the world. Humans killed millions of werewolves. The werewolves’ souls eventually came back to haunt them, and an oath was taken by every werewolf. They swore never to forgive humans again, to always seek revenge. Until one day, a young boy with courage, determination, and strength, would break the oath. I believe that boy is you, Byron.”
Byron gasped. He had, never in his life, prepared for someone to say this to him. He was in shock, but he knew that somehow, he had to break the oath. Byron dashed out Mrs. Zapatio’s house, and sprinted into his own house. It was 5:00 PM already! He had been gone for an extremely long time. Byron decided to hop back in bed for a couple more hours.
As it neared midnight, Byron packed a couple of garlic necklaces and apples. He crept downstairs and over to the movie theater. Byron went into the theater, and saw numerous dead bodies, as well as misty images of ghosts. He froze. After a moment of shock, he went upstairs, finding a pack of werewolves.
Byron saw an emerald necklace. He had a strange feeling that it was the key to breaking the oath. Somehow, he knew, if it was worn by the leader werewolf and the power was shared with the rest of the pack, then it would destroy all humans. Byron snuck in. The largest werewolf saw him, and grabbed him by the leg. It snarled.
“Pleased to meet you…my name is Davathion, and I am afraid I am going to have to stop you from getting the emerald. Now back away from us werewolves and go out the theater like a nice little boy…otherwise, we won’t have a choice but to tie you up.” Davathion growled.
Byron nodded and backed away from Davathion like a nice, innocent little boy, but he actually had a plan to get the emerald.
Byron said, “I’m sorry, Davathion…I thought that this was still a movie theater, and I was coming to see if I could watch a movie here. But no, I see I’ll have to leave now.”
Byron went back out the room, but stayed close by. When the werewolves started chanting in a strange language, Byron prepared himself for a lunge. As the werewolves started to close their eyes and chant even louder, Byron lunged, grabbed the emerald necklace, and shattered it on the floor. Davathion made one final desperate attempt to grab Byron by the neck, but he was too late. The werewolves slowly began to turn into dust, and the dust was carried away from the movie theater.
Byron ran out of the movie theater, into his house, and jumped onto his bed. He was exhausted, and he fell asleep in an instant.
All mankind is safe…at least, just for now.

Don't even care now if I slipped right down
Just wanna get back up
Oh where are the times we stood up straight
Never let something shove us down?
Oh when did we get back up
When something tripped us over?
It seems like yesterday when we did that
But we're so obnoxious now it's crazy
Just pull yourself together
Cuz I don't even care if I fell
Well yesterday was the worst day of my life
Just tripping on the hard cold cement
But yesterday seems like eternity now
Cuz I'm not looking back now
Disappointments are for yesterday
Looking back on them is naive
Why do you wanna be a fool
Looking back on the streets of disappointment?
So get back up and breathe
In the warm city air
Disappointments are for yesterday
So pull yourself up.
This is the people who played my roles for me. This is my thanks for everyone tuning into Daredevil's Vs. Murderer's and I hope you tune into remember me, which I'm still working on. Writer's block is such an ugly disease, but I'm getting it done. P.S I didn't have a visual picture fro some characters, please comment what you think. I've seen people on Wattpad do this, and I wanted to try, but I do not have a wattpad account, I just visit and read some of their stories, interesting, and good, you guys should visit.
Hope you enjoy! :)
