WHAT TO DO?
Carter’s Perspective
No matter how shocking, yes, we dogs can think. Gasps galore, I know. Anyways, I sat there, somehow knowing that we weren’t playing hide-and-go –seek in this… place. I decided to get out of the road as I had realized that I was in the middle of the lane.
I faltered for a second, wondering if I should stay there just in case Derek was to come back. I finally decided there was no chance that he would be coming back. I wander out into the desert a bit, and then I looked back at the way that I had come from. I realized I couldn’t see the road anymore. Great…. What to do now? Throw a dance party? Cry myself to death? Go back to the road?
I look out into the vast desert, anticipating for a vulture to come, swoop down, and eat me for lunch. The whole scene seemed like it was from Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner’s show, just without strange objects falling from the sky.
Then, I realize a pack of dog-looking things in the distance. I instantly realize after this that they are coyotes. I run as fast as my three legs can carry me. I know that some coyotes don’t get along real well with dogs, but I can only hope they can show me how to live.
Dogs do communicate by barking, so I started barking hoping they would understand me. “HEY!” I yell out, “HEY! UM, COULD I POSSIBLY GET HELP OR HAVE SOMEONE SHOW ME WHERE I SHOULD GO?”
One of them, who I would soon come to know as Mark, yipped back, “What’s up, dude? Why aren’t you with the rest of us?”
He clearly thought I was a coyote too. I did have fur that looked like a coyote’s, but the only dead-giveaway that I wasn’t one was my warm-brown chocolate-y eye. All the other coyotes have yellowish eyes.
“Oh, you know,” I reply, “Just, uh, doing, uh, stuff.” I had no clue what coyotes do for fun.
“Cool!! Wanna join us? We’re about to go out and hunt for dinner.”
“Err, sure?”
“Great! C’mon, we’re about to leave! Hustle up!” He yelps, welcoming me to the pack that I would come to rule...

One day, a girl was walking through a forest. Her name was Rachel, and she was looking for a friend. Her and her friend, Misty, were camping, but then Misty disappeared. She then saw a dim white light. She walked towards it and saw a face, a body, arms, and legs. It was wearing a white dress. You know, when she thought about it, it looked a bit like... "AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!"
