Chapter 5.
You felt someone nudging your arm and you hear someone say "___, ___, wake up, you're home." You open your eyes to see Emmett smiling at you. "Oh, I'm sorry I fell asleep Emmett, I was just so tired." you say smiling a little. "it's no problem ___, but I hope you had fun." he said looking at you. "I did, I really did except..." "except what" he asked. "Except Rosalie kept giving me a cold stare all day, and I dont know why." Emmett started to laugh a little bit. "What's so funny?" you ask. "Forget about Rosalie, we used to date and I broke up with her because she's too damn up-tight. She's just jealous, ignore her." He says. "Emmett, she's going to say the wrong thing to me and I'll end up hitting her." "___, if Rosalie decides to say anything, you wont need to hit her, I WILL put her in her place, trust me on that. She has a smart mouth, but mine is smarter." And he said it smiling at you. "Ok, but still if she does it when you're not around ---" He cut you off by saying "Carlisle, Esme Edward or even Alice will put her there, they know how up tight she is too. ___, you do not need to worry about it." "Ok Emmett." you say kissing his cheek. You get out of his Jeep, and before you shut the door you look at him and ask "Are you going to be in my room later?" "You know it" "Ok, I'll see you then." You say and you shut the door. You reach your door and Emmett takes off with the Jeep. You get in your house and you turn on the kitchen light after kicking a chair at the table. "Ouch, stupid chair." you turn on the light and you grab your pjs and go in your bathroom. Emmett comes through your window as soon as you shut the door and sits on your bed. "SON OF A B****!!!" you yell "I HATE BEING A GIRL!!!!" Emmett chuckles to himself knowing what you mean. You come out of the bathroom and you see him and you jump. "Emmett, you scared me, damn, that was like 5 minutes, and you got here the quick?" "yeah, I told you I'm fast" he said trying not to laugh. "what's so funny......OMG YOU HEARD ME?!?!??" "He could help but laugh really loud "Yeah, I did!" "Well, I'm officially Embarrassed.....you say hiding your face in the wall." "NO NO NO Dont be ___, you should laugh about it, because it was funny, BUT it could have been worse....you could have started PLAYING Baseball, right?" "yeah you're right, that would be worse." and you start laughing. You look on your mirror and you see a note. You go over to it and you read it. "What's that?" "a letter from my mom, she wont be home until 3 weeks because she using her vacation time for a cruise and a week in Vegas, needless to say, she will be drinking that entire time." you say throwing the letter down on your vanity with your make-up. "Well, I can stay with you here or if you want you can stay with me at my house." He says getting up and coming to you. "Emmett, for the next 5 days, I'll stay here....you know, girl stuff, but after that..." you say rubbing his chest. "Maybe I can stay over there." "Oh you are a tease!!" he says Picking you up and you wrapping your arms around his neck. And he kisses you on the lips. You kiss back and he says "I Think I love you ___." you smile and say. "I think I Love you too Emmett." He layed you down in bed and you covered up with your covers before he got on your bed. You rested your head onhis chest the entire time, even when you went to sleep. You woke up and you noticed that there was the smell of something being cooked. You looked at your clock and it said it was 9:58 am. You go downstairs and you see that Emmett is making you breakfast. "Well you certainly know your way around the kitchen." you say and he turns around and smiles. "Well even though we dont eat, doesn't mean I dont know how to cook." he laughs smiling that heart melting smile you love. You walk over to him and kiss him on the cheek. "Goodmorning" you say as you walk to the table. Emmett brings you a plate of egg whites, wheat toast and orange juice. "Goodmorning." he kisses you on the mouth. You smile. "So what are we going to do today?" you ask him taking a bite of your toast. "Well, I was thinking that we can just chill here for the day, and watch movies in your room, cuddling with each other." "awe, you like to cuddle.." you say messing with his hair. "Or if you dont mind, we can go to my house and you can watch me and my brothers wrestle, and watch me win like always." he says smirking. "hmmm, that very tempting" you say smiling back. "well, I do like a guy that knows how to man handle someone, so I guess we go to your house." "Awesome, finish your breakfast and then get ready, don't worry, I'll do the dishes." He says "No no, I can do the dishes later." you say. "Are you sure, I can clean them since I made the food." "I got it later Hun." "Ok". You finish your breakfast and then you put your plate and glass in the sink. You run upstairs to your room and pick out an outfit. then you take a shower. You get out, dry off, put your hair up, do your make up, blow dry your hair then straighten it, take care of "Woman" issues, get dressed and put on deodorant. you come down the stair in your grey Hip hugging skinny jeans, a mountain dew shirt and a black zip up hoodie. "well you look comfortable." Emmett says looking at you. "Thanks, if you dont like it, I can change..." you say pointing behind you to the stairs. "Oh no, I like it." He says getting in front of you and putting his hands on your hips. "I'm glad" standing on your tip-toes and kissing him. "ok lets go." Emmett says after he kisses you back. You guys Get to his house and you love that its a HUGE house. "OMG, Emmett, your house is amazing!!." "Thanks, Carlisle picked it out, He knew Esme loved it so he bought it....come on, lets go inside." He grabs your hand and takes you inside closing the door behind you Emmett grabs your hand again and says "we're here!" Alice pranced right into the living room and said "Hi ___!!" and hugs you. Jasper says "Hello.." "Welcome to our home ___." Esme says smiling that motherly smile. "It's Nice to see you again ___." Carlisle says. "It's Nice to see all of you again as well." you say smiling. "Jasper, wheres Edward?" Emmett asks. "He'll be back soon, he had to run something over to Bella." "cool, hey, and you know when he gets back....I'm going to have to beat you guys in a wrestling match." Emmett says throwing his arms up. "We'll see" Jaspers says walking away with Alice. "Emmett, where's Rosalie?" you ask him "Who cares?" he replys with a smile. You smile and he picks you up hugging you. "Emmett put me down!" you say laughing and he starts to walk over to the couch. "Emmett, this isnt funny, I'm not a rag doll!." you say giggling. "Well its feels like it to me!" He says and then he put you over his shoulder. You let out a little "Ahh!" And then he puts you down. "Thats soo not fair!" you say pouting. "Whats not fair?" Emmett asks with a smile as he sits on the couch. "You're really strong, I feel like rag doll when you do that." You say sitting next to him. He puts him arm around you and you put your head on his shoulder and he lifts your chin and says "Well, I wouldn't be a good protector if I wasn't strong." You smile and say "I'm not complaining, I love that you are really strong." Then he kisses you and hugs you a little tighter. "Get a room!!" Rosalie says walking down the stairs. "Ok, ___, lets go use Rosalies room." Emmett says right back. "Emmett, get over yourself!" Rosalie says walking past the couch. "I'll get over my self when you get an attitude adjustment." he says standing up "Rose, I'm letting you know this now, If you have a problem with ___ being with me, Get used to it, she's NOT going anywhere, and frankly it's NONE of your business who I am with." Emmett says getting angry. "Emmett, it's pathetic that you're picking a worthless human over your family." she says practically screaming. "She is NOT worthless, EVERYONE likes her, so get used to her being around, and if you still don't like it, get lost, because noone would care that you're gone." Emmett says coldly. You look a rosalie and she looks like shes about to cry. Emmett comes back to you and says "Come on ___, lets go outside." He reaches out his hand and you take it and you go outside with him. He lets go of your hand and you see he's walking to a tree, a big tree. "Emmett, what are you doing?" He says nothing. He just stands there and starts to shake in anger. You take one step towards him and he says "DON'T" you stop and say "why?" Then he does something you never seen anyone attempt. He swings a fist at the tree and he punches a whole clean through the tree trunk. "Emmett!" you yell he turns towards you, and starts walking to you. You step back with a little bit of fear. He looks at you with sadness and says "I'm sorry if I scared you, I would never hurt you ___, I can't control my anger sometimes, I'm sorry." He says. "Emmett, promise me you will never do that when I'm around again." "I Promise." he says hugging you. "That scared me Emm, please don't ever do that." you beg " I won't Babe." he answers "Can we go back inside, it's a little chilly out here." "yeah absolutely!" he says grabbing your hand. You get back inside and you go up to his room. You take off your hoodie and you lay on his bed. He looks at you and says "Comfy?" laughing. "yeah.....I'm still a little cold though" you say smiling. "Are you?" he asks. You shake your head yes. "Ok, hang on a sec..." he says leaving the room. like 2 seconds later he comes back saying "we keep these here for when Bella stays the night with edward, now that she dont need them, they can be for you." he says opening and purple blanket and placing it on you. "Thank you" you say. Your phone goes off and you look at it. It's your mom's cell, you answer it. "Hello?" you ask. You hear a man say is this ___ ____?" "yes it is who calling?" "This is officer Bradley from the Las Vegas Police Department, uhm ___, I'm afraid I have to be the barer of bad news..." "What do you mean bad news?" you say sitting up on Emmett's bed." Emmett looks at you with worry. "I'm afraid your mother was in a horrible car accident, and, she didnt make it through the surgery. I'm so sorry for your loss." you start to cry "No, my mom can't be dead, I have noone else, NO!!! You're Lying!!" When Emmett takes the phone "Hello?" Emmett says "hello, is ___ there?" "sir she's not able to talk right now this is her boyfriend." Emmett says. You're crying even harder. "___ is going to need to come here and sign some papers after she identifyes her mother, does she have a way to get here?" Officer Bradley asks. "Yes, I'll bring her." Emmett says. "Ok, Tell her again I am sorry for her loss." "I think you better do that when you see her." and Emmett hangs up. He looks at you and sees you crying and it hurts him. He sits by you and gently puts a hand on your shoulder. "Oh Emmett!! What am I going to do, I have no other family, I'm all alone!" you say crying crushing your head in Emmett's chest." he rubs your back and says "You have me, you can stay here with me, I'll take care of you and protect you." "I dont want to be a bother to anyone Emmett." "YOU WON'T BE, We would love for you to be here." he says as he lifts your chin with a finger. "Especially me ___, I would love for you to be with me all the time." he says looking you in the eyes. You stop crying a little and you say in a crackly voice "Only if its ok with Carlisle and Esme, I will stay."
