Bella's pov
Sitting in detention listening to the clock tick with five other people. We shouldn't be like this. We should have never fought. One stupid fight eighthgrade summer, and your scared. The silence was to much to bare.
"Get your desk and make a circle." I turned my desk with my hand. "Come on. I can't take this anymore."
With five funny looks, they all made a circle with their desks. Me, Rosalie,Jasper,Edward-infront of me-Emmett, Alice, and back to me.
"Alice." I turned to my right. "My 13th birthday, you took my shopping."
"Our best friend bracelets." She whispered and looked up at me.
"Emmett." I looked past her. "Play date. Second grade."
"A blood signed contract. Best friends forever." He looked up at me.
"Rosalie." I looked to my left. "Our first sleepover."
"We put shaving cream on your dad's hand." She laughed with tears.
"We tickled his nose with a feather." I laughed too. "Jasper." I looked past her. "The summer after 7th grade."
"I taught you how to do a 360." He looked up and smiled. "And you nailed it!" He smiled.
I smild back and looked at Edward sitting across from me, my smile fading into tears. "Edward." He looked up at me, his depthless, green eyes full of pain, mimiking mine. "8th grade Christmas break."
"I kissed you." I felt a tear roll down my cheek and I wipped it away quickly.
"What happened that made us like this?"
"A missing doll." Rosalie whispered.
"A broken wheel." Jasper.
"A toren peice of paper." Emmett.
"A broken bracelet." Alice.
"Two broken hearts." Edward.
"All the things that made us hate eachother could be fixed, found, mended." I met Edward's eyes on the last word. "There are five holes in my heart." Mine and Edward's eyes stayed locked. "One larger than the others." I finally broke away and looked around the circle. "All these years we have spent fighting. Over what? Stupidity. I miss you." I looked back at Edward and looked down from his gaze. "All of you. I want to be friends again. Go back to before Rosalie was popular, Jasper was a skater, Alice was a prep, Emmett was a gangster, Edward was a player. But I can't if you all don't want to."
"I do." Alice looked up from her hands.
"I do." Emmett looked over to Alice and smiled.
"I do." Rosalie smiled at me.
"I do." Jasper smiled and propped his feet up on the desk.
I waited for Edward to speak but he never did. I looked over at him and he leaned toward me. "I do." He was talking specifically to me.
"Banner's coming!" Emmett looked back from the window on the door and we frantically made the rows again.
"You all can go home. Dentition tomorrow remember!" He closed the door and left.
"Tomorrow after dentition, my house. We have alot to make up for." I smiled and walked out to my car.
"Hey, Dad." I walked outside and spotted Charlie by the pool. I sat down on the stones and stuck my feet in the water.
"Hey. Bells." He looked up from his laptop.
"Are you still writing your new book? Or are you finished?" Charlie was an author, therefore we had a gated three story house. 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms. Huge kitchen and living room with a 72 in flatscreen.
"Just finishing it up actually." He looked back down to his laptop.
"The old gang is comming by tomorrow."
His fingers stopped an he looked up at me. "As in Edward, Rosalie, Alice, Emmett, and Jasper?"
"Yea." I stood up and picked up my flipflops. "We are going to fix things. We all decided we have had enough. I'm going up to my room."
"Well, okay then." He mumbled.
I climbed the stair case to my room. I walked up the spiral staircase that led to my French doors and stood out on my balcony. I leaned over, putting my elbows on the railing when my phone buzzed with a text message.
Bella, I don't know what else to do. I never cheated on you. Ever. You know how Tayna is now in school and she hasn't changed any since the time she told you I cheated on you. You see it in the hallway evreyday how the clings herself onto me. Since that night I never go to bed without thinking of you first. I never stopped loving you, I just hid it. Bella, I still love you. -Edward.
"And nothing's going to change that."
I spun around and Edward was standing on the last step. "Ever."
"How-how did you get up here?" I asked.
"Charlie let me in." He nodded toward the stairs.
He walked over and stood beside me looking out at the lake. "I thought this whole feeling was gone." He smiled slightly. "The felling of wanting to throw up when ever I go near you, because I get so nervous. The urge to touch your hand. To touch my fourhead to yours. To touch your lips again." He smiled. "I guess some things just stay with you."
I turned back around and looked out at the water with him.
"You know, I hope you find it." He turned his head and looked at me. "And hope you're happy. I hope it's everything you dreamed about. I just wanted you to know that. I hope you find it."
I stared into his eyes and felt a tear roll down my cheek. "What ever your looking for." He whispered.
It took me a second to find my voice. "I already have." I threw my arms around his neck and kissed him. His hands pressed on both sides of my face as he held my to him. "I missed you so much." He whispered inbetween kisses.
"Fianlly!"
I looked over the railing and everyone was standing down on the lawn. Rose and Alice were grinning ear to ear, Emmett had been the one to yell out and Jasper was giving slow applause. Even Charlie was standing down there with his hands in his pockets and a smile on his face.
Edward chuckled and I laughed as Emmett threw a fist into the air. I kissed Edward again and he presed his fourhead to mine.
"I missed you, too, by the way." I whispered and smiled.
