Chapter 6
We drove in silence while the car drove farther and farther into the night.Alex was eating a Kid's Meal from Burger King that we had just drove past.I glanced at the clock on the dash bored that read 12:15pm.I suddenly became more observant of my surroundings since we first got in the car.The car we were in was a black Toyota.From what I could see,the paint was chipped in some places and there was a dint on the right corner of the bull bar.
'What did you do to this car?' I asked,Alex laughed.
'Oh...long story' He chuckled.
'C'mon,tell us'
'You wouldn't believe me if I told you' He said.
'Oh please Skip,we just got chased by vampires' I said.
'Well,see those chips in the side..?'
'Vampires?'
'Yahuh'
We drove in silence for a while longer,passing towns, passing cities.....suddenly something hit me.
'Hey? Where are we going anyway?'
'Well,' He pulled out a map 'We started here right? In Quintana' I nodded 'Well,um were gonna go to Arizona our house is just outside the city'
'Who else do you live with?'
'There is my friends Scarlet,Leo,Tony and Loretta.I looked at him for more information.'Scarlet is from San Diego,she lost her parents on Christmas day from a fire while she was visiting her grandmother who lives by herself just out of the city.She gets a little nervous around fire so try not to mention it.Loretta and Leo have these gifts.Loretta can get visions while she sleeps,sometimes she gets visions while she is awake,but that's only happened once.Leo can look into your mind,and find what you desire most at that point in time.What's scary is,Loretta and Leo are Twins,they have the same stride,they sometimes even think the same things.Sometimes its hard to tell them apart,Leo looks so feminine and Loretta has the same short hair as her brother'
'And Tony?' I had to ask.
'Well,we don't really know much about Tony,we have tried to find out more about him but he just wont open up,actually,he never really talks at all'
