Wind: (Walking with James and Cody) I’m telling you guys right now, those Transmorphers movies are terrible
James: I don’t know, the box office says otherwise
Wind: That’s because it has some pretty effects. That’s literally all that movie has. It’s just shit acting and even shittier writing.
Cody: I have no idea what that is. I just like the pretty effects
Wind: Of course you would, Cody (As they walk, they see a large group of people around a poster)
James: What’s this (They all move to the front of the crowd)
Wind: (Reads poster) The amazing singer, Katherine Lisun as she performs in Eastwood tonight at 8:30…. Who in the fuck is Katherine Lisun?
James: You don’t know who Katherine Lisun is?!
Wind: …… No.
Cody: She’s only the greatest musician ever to walk the earth
James: She’s an inspiration
Cody: She could cure cancer if she wanted to
James: She’s pretty damn hot too
Wind: She’s an ordinary person like you and…. No, just you
James: Ordinary? Wind, she is a musician. That clearly makes her better than the rest of the world
Wind: Oh my fucking Christ.
Cody: Hey, we should go there. We can all buy tickets and head on our way there
James: Sounds good to me. What do you think Wind? (Sees that he is gone) Where did he go?
Wind: (Sitting at a cafe) I swear, I would rather dragged by my tongue by meat hooks than go to some shitty concert.
Woman: (Sitting the in the chair behind him) Tell me about it. I’m always forced to go to some concert because they tell me too.
Wind: (Sips coffee) You have stupid friends too, huh?
Woman: That’s one way of putting it.
Wind: Hmm. Well, sorry you have to deal with such idiots
Woman: Same to you
Wind: I’m Wind, in case you were wondering
Woman: I’m…. Elizabeth
Wind: Well, why do you need to go to these concerts
Elizabeth: You know, they just get me in there and I have no choice but to go, or I look bad
Wind: Pfff, that’s it. If I don’t want to go, I don’t go. Simple as that, really
Elizabeth: Easy for you to say. I just have to go, otherwise I’ll be a laughingstock
Wind: Laughingstock? Since when did they make a choice for you….. Wait a second
Elizabeth: (Starts to sweat a little)
Wind: You look familiar…. Are you….. Katherine Lisun?
Katherine: …… Okay, fine. I just dressed in a large coat and hat to get some peace and quiet.
Wind: Oh……. (Sits back in his chair)
Katherine: …. Aren’t you going to ask for my autograph, or a picture, or something
Wind: No
Katherine: Aren’t you at least impressed to be meeting a celebrity
Wind: Honestly, I could care less
Katherine: Wow…. You're probably the first person I’ve met who hasn’t cared about me being a celebrity
Wind: First?
Katherine: Yeah. You see, apparently, everyone thinks that I only matter, because I’m a singer. While being famous and having a whole bunch of fans and money and being what I always wanted to be is great and all, it doesn’t help that people only see me as a singer, and not who I really am.
Wind: Then why not quit
Katherine: Oh, I could never do that. I may find it tiresome, but I can’t break my fans hearts
Wind: Well, you can’t be this way forever
Katherine: I know. My contract usually cancels once I reach the age of 28, then I end up broke and homeless
Wind: Well, if you really want people to see you for who you really are, just tell them
Katherine: Actually, that just may work
(Cody and James are at the concert)
James: Oh man, I’m so excited
Cody: Me too
Katherine: (Looking out from backstage) Wow, there’s quite a lot of people out there
Wind: Then there’s more people that you can show yourself too
Katherine: Yeah, your right. Thanks again (Hugs him)
Wind: (Just sit through it. She’ll eventually let go. Just clench your teeth through the pain)
Katherine: Okay, wish me luck (Heads out)
(The crowd cheers)
Katherine: Thanks, everyone. Before I start, I just want to tell you all something. Sure, I may be an amazing singer with lots of money and have become famous only at the age of sixteen, but I am just like all of you. I have things that I like and dislike, and I am just a human. Yes, I do have a larger net worth than some small business and am pretty important to even those who are famous themselves, but I am still just an ordinary girl. I’m not some messiah that can cure diseases and solve world problem. I would if I could, but all I am is a girl with a talent and love for singing
James and Cody: (Crying) That was beautiful
(The crowd applauses)
Katherine: Now, with all that out of the way, are you ready for a great show
(The crowd cheers)
Katherine: Wind, the show was such a success
Wind: Yes, I know. I was there
Katherine: Oh, thank you for all your help
Wind: Well, technically, I didn’t do much. Just told you to do what you wanted to do
Katherine: Well, it was still a lot of help. Here, take this as a way of thanks (Hands him one of her CDs)
Wind: Thanks
Katherine: (Smiles and kisses his cheek)
Wind: (Okay, this is much worse than a hug)
Katherine: Well, I’ll be seeing you (Leaves)
Wind: Yeah…… (When she’s gone, he throws her CD into the trash can and walks out)
James: I don’t know, the box office says otherwise
