You know what’s a setting that indie developers really seem to like? The cyberpunk genre. I’m not complaining, I love that stuff too. But I have like three games played that are cyberpunk, and I am pretty sure I have more waiting to be played that are also taking place in that setting. And naturally, I thought I would review the one I played first on here before the others. And low and behold, it is one that many people have talked about before, VA-11 HALL-A, pronounced Valhalla.

VA-11 HALL-A is set in a cyberpunk world, where corporations decide the fate of humans, where everyone has nanomachines in their bodies, and where Red Shibas can talk and it is the most annoying thing in the world apparently. Rumors are going around about the corruption of the police force, a mysterious hacker group known as Alice_Rabbit, and a possible scam going on in the local media. Well, you shouldn’t care about that, cause you are not involved with that. You aren’t a police officer, a journalist or a rebel. You are Jill, a bartender who has clearly had a lot of problems in her life, who works at the small bar called VA-11 HALL-A. Here, you do what you can to mix drinks accordingly to the customers request, hear about their life stories, and try to get enough money to make it through the week and hopefully not end up evicted from the apartment you live in. A very simple game, but one that has a lot of great turns, and a lot of talk about sex. From breast size to prostitution to Jill remembering a time her girlfriend shoved a cucumber in her vagina, why the fuck am I playing this trash?
But seriously though, the perspective you take from this standpoint is interesting. Here you got all these interesting things going on in the world from hacking groups to corporate schemes to revolutions and such, and yet, you aren’t in the front row seat of it all. Instead, being a bartender, you only hear about it in conversations. The most you’ll get is hearing it on the news, but that’s about it. Just hearing it all in conversations with bar patrons. It’s pretty unique and is a fun way to tell the story in a way that could’ve gone real poorly, but VA-11 HALL-A manages to pull it off quite well. And speaking of the patrons, each character is unique in their own way. You got usual pricks like news reporter and horseblower Donovan and rude douche Ingram, oddball characters like the “poetic” Virgilio and the robotic android Kira Miki, Streaming-Chan can get the fuck out of my bar, and regulars like the robot prostitute Dorothy and the intelligent Alma. Alma is best girl. And each one of these characters always has a unique and interesting story to tell you. Alma’s issues with her older sister, Sei and Stella’s friendship despite their different circumstances, Streaming-Chan can get the fuck out of my bar, and Dorothy having to discuss things with her sorta mother/guardian. There’s even cameo appearances from characters from other games by the company, like characters for 2064, a game I have yet to play, and that one indie game nobody likes. You know, Yick.
The sprite work is also really good. Each character you meet always pops out with that stylish design to them. No two characters ever look the same and it is amazing. Speaking of amazing, that soundtrack. I think this can rival some of the best video game soundtracks out there. I even bought the soundtrack for it and listen to it on a regular basis. It’s just that funky. But music aside, if we can’t be rebels or get involved in secret conspiracies, what can we do in this games story? Well, around the halfway point, things start to take a serious turn for Jill, who is so riddled with guilt from her past due to just making simple mistakes that could easily be solved, only for them to kinda…. Not be so easy. I’d hate to spoil it for anyone who wants to play VA-11 HALL-A, just don’t expect this to be your usual Cyberpunk story. This game isn’t here to make you think about society. This game will make you laugh, make you cry, make you question your sexuality a few times, and then make you laugh and cry again with it’s tone.
It’s hard to talk about a visual novel that is all about mixing drinks. Shit, mixing drinks is the most gameplay you get from the game and I haven’t even talked about that. You got tons of variety with mixing drinks. Try not to fuck it up, and always remember what characters like and dislike, like how Dorothy likes Blue Fairies or how Donovan prefers his beer to be huge. Remembering that will grant you a good tip, and money will not only allow you to buy stuff in the games store for your house, but it will also allow you to pay rent so Jill doesn’t go homeless and prevents you from getting the good ending. Yeah, don’t do that.
I don’t know what more I can say about this game that isn’t, “I really love this game’s style.” And I really do love it. It’s just a fun time all around to get to know the characters, hear about the world of this town, and just mix drinks to make people’s lives in this shit hole less shit. If you are interested in a fun visual novel title, VA-11 HALL-A is one I cannot recommend enough. Get your hands on it if you have the chance.

Up Next: We send a puppy to the boss
Wind: But why do I have to do this
Teacher: Because at the last ballgame, your so called “National Anthem” caused a full scale riot
Wind: Oh, it wasn’t that bad
Teacher: Forty-six people died
Wind: Oh… well that what they get for going to a ballgame
Teacher: Okay, the way I see it, you have two options. You can either play a game of baseball and win this school a victory, or you can spend a day with Austin over there
Austin: (Draws a penis on the board) HA HA HA HA!
Wind: I’ll play
Teacher: Your damn right you will
(That night)

Running from Chicacolt to San Franciscolt is a railroad called the Union Pacific. It's the largest railroad in the United States, and is run by thousands of ponies. This is the story of some of those ponies that run the rails, aka railroading.

It has been half a week since Coffee Creme's first day working on the Union Pacific. She's a hard worker, and normally works with Hawkeye, and together, they would have a special assignment. They were recieving it in Cheyenne at 9 O clock in the morning

So, I promised I would read more Alpha and Omega fanfics…… much to my displeasure, so, here is the next one, known as Jasper Park Mating Season….. Haven’t even read it, and already, I regret my decision.
So, it starts with Kate washing herself… And, before you ask, I can’t tell if they are wolves or anthropomorphic creatures. I really isn’t explained. Anyway, Lily comes by, and so, they then talk about mating season. Oh, boy, here we go again with this shit. So, after that embarrassing conversation, they move to another embarrassing conversation, which is talking about Humphrey’s…....

(Warning: List contains Strong violence and Nudity.... But, this is the anime club, and anime always has that, so you guys are okay with that)
You get the picture, lets start.... But, first, rules. Only one anime from a whole series, including its spin-offs, I do not have to watch the anime to include the opening, and my opinion on the opening does not reflect my opinion on the anime itself. I could utterly despise the anime but like the opening. Okay, then, lets start.

Our story began in the springwood diner.

Dean, a seemingly normal guy, was ignored by a waitress when he innocently asked for anouther coffee.

Annoyed, he followed her in order to get her attention, and ended up in the kitchen.

But that's when things started getting weird, it wasn't no ordinary kitchen, it almost seemed, cannibalistic.

Suddenly, Freddy Kruger popped out of nowhere, who tired stabbing Dean with a costomized glove weapon.

This event frightenly woke him into to reality, as it was revealed he was alseep.

"Dean.. I told you if you keep falling asleep, their gonna kick you outta here"...

Swift: Two entry ways. Thats just perfect
Lilly: But, haven't you noticed that jessica has not come into court
Swift: Marcus already said she refuses to testify against Lou
Lilly: But, Swift. I feel like she isn't telling me everything. I can't blame her, not wanting to testify in front of Lou
Swift: Well, if you think so. I guess we could get her onto the stand. But first, we'll have to cross-examine Leroy first. Once he's done, then we'll move on to Jessica *I hope we can*

It’s that time again. Time for me to talk about a Suda game. Suda games are usually a hit or a miss between audiences. They can become cult classics like No More Heroes and Killer7, or they can be completely forgotten like Diabolical Pitch. His games are only really considered by people who enjoy his style of storytelling and over-the-top gameplay. So it’s no surprise that I enjoy a good portion of his games. And one that I will be talking about today is the overly colorful and bubbly zombie hack n’ slash game, Lollipop Chainsaw

~Story~

Lollipop Chainsaw is a game that follows the...

Video games have a lot of story in them nowadays. Back then, when it was just squares on a TV screen, all you did was move around and run and shoot… and occasionally jump. Games back then were a lot more simple to follow than today. But that is what makes games of today so awesome. They have tons of plot and story in them, making them more well thought out than games of yesterday. But, no better are a game’s story shown than the plot twist. Those moments when the story is changed in a different direction, surprising the player and keeping them interested. These usually come just to surprise...

North Star City
2020

I’m not sure how it happened. What caused it. What made it happen to people like us. But… I had a feeling in my gut. I think it was a collective feeling, from all humanity. That this was the beginning of the end. For all of us.
It started on a Friday. Three long days of dread and fear filling the world. The sun. The damned blackened sun, hanging over all of us like an omen. The sun was completely black. The light was still there, but… it...

So the punk scene, what a scene it is. Big mohawks, piercings, and a bad attitude that all those movies and annoyed parents warned us about. But seriously, it’s not all that. Nowadays, punk has become nothing more than a front for stores like Hot Topic to make a quick buck off of and unless your Green Day, most of your venues are a small bar if they’re lucky. What is the kind of thing punk is mistaken for, what is it really, and just what happened to it all? Well, that’s what I am here to talk about today. Sadly, don’t expect a huge analysis on this one. This is merely a myriad of thoughts...

I have not a single clue what this is. Okage: The Shadow King, known in Japan as Me and Satan King, yes, really, was a PS2 RPG that was made by Zener Works Studios, a prefecture of Sony Interactive, who worked on such titles like…. Uh… Little Monsters? Anyone?...... They made games on the Vita… Wait, no, that’s worse. So yeah, Zener Works hasn’t exactly had much success with their games, with Okage being their best bet at anything, which sadly wasn’t much. I only heard about this game when I watched a video on one of my favorite Youtubers talked about it briefly in their video game...

Well, it was only a matter of time until we got to the Persona franchise, and I am more than happy to start off with this one. But not the OG Persona 3, mostly because I didn’t buy that one. No, we’re here to discuss Persona 3: FES.
Persona 3 is set in a Japanese city where you play as Minato-Makoto-Door-Kun- The kid in the image above, as he moves into a dorm with other young teenagers, only to learn that the city every night at midnight turns into the Dark Hour, where the local school turns into a giant tower called Tartarus and everyone turns into coffins. So, what’s teens to...

Okay…. This is the first Legend of Zelda entry on the list… and hoo boy, I think I already pissed some people off with this decision already.
Legend of Zelda follows the story of Link and his companion Navi as they travel across the land of Hyrule, saving the Sages and trying to stop Ganondorf from taking over Hyrule.. Yeah, get used to hearing that story description of other Zelda games. This was considered to be THE Zelda game back in the day, the one that everyone needed to play and is thought to be the greatest video game of all time. And while I don’t personally agree with that,...

So remember when Sega was trying to make more stuff rather than just Sonic and the occasional Yakuza game, and the only way to see the franchise was through a Kickstarter like Shenmue? Well, let’s go back to the golden days of Dreamcast. And remember a classic game on there as Jet Set Radio. Fun game, but due to being on the Dreamcast, we doubted it would get a chance on other consoles. And then, Jet Set Radio Future happened.
Jet Set Radio takes place in… the future? An alternate timeline? Whatever, in Jet Set Radio Future, you play as the GGs, a group of roller skating rebellious...

Reboots are something in the entertainment industry that we should just get used to. Hollywood and the animation industry have given reboots a real bad name, what with many bad reboots of classic cartoons to butchered reboots of famous 80s movies you like to say are classics yet have never watched. Reboots can be good... But because negativity gets attention, I'm not gonna defend it. Instead, let's talk about how reboots ruined everything in the gaming industry. From the most basic of brand new ideas to the worst kinds out there, this is the ten worst video game reboots.

When it comes to the mind of a child, many things can appear new to them. Their still developing psyches have not yet allowed them to experience everything in the world. They will see things differently than adults do, and everything that the adult human finds to be a normal thing will be completely alien to children. This could be a new and exciting experience to some kids, but at the same time, it can lead to them being mortified and scared of something, until they finally grow out of it. So, what the hell did any of that have to do with video games? None, probably, but it sure did make me...

#1: THE RING:
If you seen the trailer.. Your think it's just stupid movie.. But appearently it's actually a very smart movie.. I never seen it, so not certain.

#2: INSIDIOUS:
Jump scares done "right".

#3: THE GIFT:
I can't explain anything without spoiling it.
But basically Jason Bateman are dealing with an old friend, that's basically the standard creepy neighbour, being way too nice.. But the end you would not see coming..

#4: PLAY MISTY FOR ME:
A 1971 film where a guy gets stalked by a emotionally disturbed young woman, who gets way too close than he likes..

#5: ONE HOUR PHOTO:
