"Where is she? WHERE THE HELL IS SHE?" Angela screamed. I hid in the bushes a few feet from her. I'm shocked she couldn't smell me because I just rolled in some mud. One of the wolves, King, looked my way. His golden eyes gleamed with anger.
"I think I found her," he smirked. I bolted the other way. I could hear the others crashing through the bushes. I laughed and turned sharply to the left. I have no idea where I'm going, but I do know I don't want to see Angela. She can be a real bich.
I ran faster, pushing my legs. I looked behind my shoulder; I couldn't hear them anymore. I turned back around with a smile on my face, but I ran into something.
"Hey, watch where you're going," someone barked at me. I slowly got up to face a big, black wolf. he lowered so his hind quarters where up, his hackles rose and he growled at me. I puffed out my chest and stood tall.
"Really? You think I'm scared of you?" I laughed. "Honey, please." The wolf stopped growling. His muddy brown eyes looked surprised, but only for a second. I swear this kid is going to hurt himself if he keeps all that fur up.
"Where are you from?" He asked, standing a little bit taller.
"Why would I tell a complete stranger that?" I circled him, swinging my tail at him.
"It'll help me," the wolf scoffed.
"So you're going to stalk me?" I teased. The wolf growled and tried to pounce on me. I laughed when I dodged him. "I hope you aren't a hunter, because your poor pack would probably starve."
"Would you shut up! At least tell me your name."
"Fine, Mr. Bossy. It's Nicole." I sat down, enjoyment filling my eyes. Oh, how I love to get on peoples nerves. The wolf sat down across from me.
"Well, Ms. Nicole, I'm Hugo." He suddenly got nice and calm. Bi-polar much? "I see you have a special mark on you. What do you have?"
"I don't know yet. I'm a beta. I don't get mine until I'm sixteen."
"A beta? But you seem like you'd be the Alpha."
"Yeah, well my Alpha isn't the nicest." Speaking of Alpha's I think I can hear her and her guards again.
"Do you hear that?" Hugo got in a pouncing position.
"Yup, I'm sure it's just Angela."
"Angela? I can't be seen with you." Then Hugo took off. Nice talking to you too. I turned around to face Angela and her cronies.
"Why, Nicole? Why?" she sounded tired. And annoyed. Like always.
"Well, there is nothing to do when you're a beta. But you wouldn't know that would you?" I tilted my head. King growled at me. A warning to shut up.
"Just go home," Angela shook her head at me. Oh, no fight then? But that's my favorite part, because I always kick your ass. I trotted past her and the others. I kept my head low and my teeth bared. I could feel something following me, but I couldnt see it.

"Nicole, stop getting in trouble and go take a bath," Sky disciplined me.
"Fine, Mother," I growled at him playfully. He growled back, but not in a playful way. Well then. I slowly stalked off to the creek. Sky followed me to make sure I did it. He's like a mom. It's annoying! "I can take care of myself, thank you very much."
"No, you can't. With out me, you would be out of the pack and or dead."
"Thanks for being blunt about it," I muttered. Sky sighed.
"Just go home and take a bath. Then stay there. I'm sure if you don't do that, King will kill you."
"Will you come?"
"No I have night watch." He turned away. His brown fur shone in the setting sun. Everyone liked him. He's strong and caring. He's never snapped at anyone (except for me), and never has he ever killed someone. Me on the other hand. I have killed many wolves, a few being from the pack. Out of me and Sky, I've changed the most since we first became werewolves.
"Nicole, come here," I heard some one call my name. I walked out of the creek and looked around. I can't see anyone. Then I'm falling hard on the dirt ground. I look up and see Sean hovering on top of me. I growl. I really don't like him.
"I haven't seen you in a while," he smiled. his dark brown eyes had lust in them. Uh, no you aren't trying anything.
"Yeah, well I'm a busy girl," I pushed him off.
"Oh busy, I see," he winked.
"Oh God, not like that!" I growled and stalked towards the trail to my house. Sean followed.
"So how are you?"
"Good."
"Same." It got awkward. I really want to snap his neck. I mean, we are alone. But knowing Sky he's probably following me.
I reached the gate of my house and turned to Sean. He smiled, not leaving.
"Well, bye," I said. I jumped up so I could push a button to open the gate. I ran through when it opened and quickly shut it before Sean could come through. I heard him call my name but I just ignored him. He can go screw himself.
