When the four new warriors were done watching over the camp they went hunting and Spottedleaf and Firestar were talking about clan matters.
" Spottedleaf, we need to have a medicine cat can you train a medicine cats when our kits are apprentices?" Firestar asked.
" Yes, but you have to go to the moonstone to see if StarClan will give you a sign" Spottedleaf said.
Firestar dipped his head " Of course Spottedleaf".
Firestar was getting prepared for the long trip to the Moonstone but then Starkit came up behind him and said " Firestar StarClan has chosen me as medicine cat."

Later, while the kits were sleeping in the den Firestar said" Starkit will be the medicine cat "
Spottedleaf looked at him, and then nodded her head " She will make an excellent medicine cat, Firestar, StarClan chose correctly".
Five moons later..............
" Mommy, we're going to be made apprentices today , right?" Starkit asked.
" Yes, Starkit" Spottedleaf said to her lovely daughter.
" Clan meeting!" Firestar yelled.
" Today I would like to say we have eight new apprentices today. Starkit, Shadowkit, Riverkit, Sunkit, Thunderkit, Windkit, Bramblekit, and Tawnykit until you have earned your warrior name Sunkit, you will be Sunpaw, Starkit you will be Starpaw, Riverkit, you will be Riverpaw, Windkit, you Windpaw, Thunderkit, you Thunderpaw, Shadowkit, you Shadowpaw, Bramblekit, you Bramblepaw, Tawnykit, you will be known as Tawnypaw. Starpaw your mentor will be Spottedleaf and you will be trained as a medicine cat. Riverpaw your mentor will be Ashfur. Windpaw your mentor will be Swiftbreeze.
