Writing Question

Help! I need a a story plot!

I am pretty good at writing and I really want to write a story. The only problem is, I can't think of a story plot. No need to go into extreme detail, but can you give me any ideas? If you give me too much detail, I'll feel guilty that I didn't get most of it by myself. Besides, I could easily think up the details by myself if I knew what I would be writing about.

Genres I'd write:
Science fiction
Fantasy (like wizards, vampires, etc., but not like uncorns, fairies, that kind of girly, little kid stuff)
Mystery/Suspense
Horror

But absolutely NO romance!

All answers are welcome. I might use more than one, either by combining them or writing seperate stories.

Plot 1: People begin to exhibit very zombie-like behavior (zombie-esque?), and the protagonist needs to discover what's causing this to happen as well as find a solution (or at least survive).

Plot 2: Classic science fiction stories often involved Scylla/Charybdis choices: the story involves explaining how the hero ends up in the predicament (stated in the final lines) where there are two choices, and either of them are bad (think episodes of the "Twilight Zone"). A favorite of mine is a story where the hero is infected with a plague and the natives can cure him if he stays there for another week, but his ship only has enough fuel to make it back home if he leaves right now (due to the orbital position of the planet).

Plot 3: classic fantasy plot: a young teen discovers that he/she actually has an unique power (either through a forgotten bloodline, or through discovering an artifact like a dragon egg, a special sword, or the like) which draws the bad guys to destroy his/her home trying to get the hero, thus giving the hero a motive for revenge as well as destroying any reason for the hero to remain out of adventure.

Thanks. I like them all but my favorite is the third one. I'll probably try writing that one when I get back to my mom's tonight, where my writing journal is.
