I remember visiting this website once...
It was called Gambit, Cable, Nightcrawler: X-Men We CRAVE for Apocalypse & Beyond! | moviepilot.com
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
Gambit, Cable, Nightcrawler: X-Men We CRAVE for Apocalypse & Beyond!
NOTE: Sorry if you were mislead by the cover picture of Deadpool and were expecting Deadpool. I just thought it was a sweet picture featuring Cable and Deadpool that I had to have it!
THANK YOU! I could have never guessed that my article on the
Avengers Villains we CRAVE would be such a hit! Thank you all very much and I\'m super glad to be giving you the next CRAVE article that you guys voted for: The X-Men we CRAVE!
Usually, I have rules of who can be on this list, but there are really no rules. Obviously, you had to be apart of the X-Men to be on this list, and if you were looking for X-Men villains, check out my old post on the X-Men Villains we CRAVE! A past member from previous X-Men movies can be on this list, it\'s just a general list of the X-Men I and We CRAVE for X-Men: Apocalypse and beyond. Enough chit-chat lets get to business!
Remy Etienne LeBeau, the mutant who would later become Gambit, was abandoned at birth by his birth father due to his unusual red-on-black eyes (they believed their child was of satanic origins). He was stolen from a New Orleans orphanage by the Thieves Guild and given to Antiquary, a collector of children, who considered Remy a perfect work of art. There he was given the name Remy and the title Le Diable Blanc (The White Devil), because of an old Guild Prophecy that spoke of a white devil. However, Jean-Luc LeBeau greatly disliked the idea of the child being in Antiquary \'s care, and arranged for Remy to grow up being watched by a gang of street thieves known as Fagan\'s Mob instead. At age eight, Remy met and befriended a young girl named Bella Donna. A few days later, he was taken in and adopted by the leader of the Thieves Guild, Jean-Luc himself, after a failed pickpocket attempt which had been secretly arranged by Jean to meet with the young mutant. Gambit\'s mutant ability includes charging small objects with an unknown form of energy, when he throws the object at a target, it explodes on impact. Usually he uses playing cards as his small object to throw.
The Ragin Cajun ladies and gentlemen! Probably my favorite X-Men of all time and one that definitely deserves the spotlight. Gambit was first introduced in X-Men Origins: Wolverine (my guilty pleasure movie), where Taylor Kitsch portrayed him. Many didn\'t like him, so now our big man Channing Tatum is going to play the part. He is confirmed to be doing a solo film and will be in X-Men: Apocalypse, but you never know, things could change for the worse. So, I\'m really pushing that they go all the way with Gambit, not only because he is a cool character, but he fits beautifully in X-Men: Apocalypse. He ends up being one of the four horsemen named Death, which in my mind would be absolutely freaking fantastic! This is a must have for the X-Men world!
Kurt Wagner is the son of Azazel, a mutant who resembles a demon, and the shapeshifting mutant Mystique. When Kurt was born in Bavaria, Mystique posed as an ordinary human and married a German baron, Eric Wagner. The local populace was horrified by newborn Kurt\'s demonic appearance (his pointed ears, three fingers, two toes and a tail) and was pursued by a mob. Mystique threw the infant Nightcrawler down a waterfall. He then grew up as a circus freak until Charles Xavier came and brought Kurt to join the X-Men. His mutant ability is teleportation.
I think a ton of people would agree with me on this one. In X2, Nightcrawler played by Alan Cumming was incredible! Ever since then, Nightcrawler hasn\'t made any more appearances sadly. But, the fans and I want him back! We want to see more of Nightcrawler, his stories, and more of those badass action scenes. It would be cool if they introduced that Mystique is his mother and we have all this \'mother and son\' drama. I think it would play out very well.
Director Bryan Singer, said he would love both Gambit and Nightcrawler in X-Men: Apocalypse! So let\'s keep our fingers crossed!
Hailing from the future Earth-2107, Nathan Dayspring Askani\'son (Cable), was actually born in modern times as Nathan Christopher Summers. He is the son of Scott Summers, Cyclops of the X-Men, and his first wife Madelyne Pryor, a clone of Jean Grey. The reason that he is all cyborg like is because Apocalypse infected him with a deadly techno-organic virus. Cable\'s mutant abilities include, telepathy, telekinesis and superhuman strength. Also has futuristic guns he carries around and technology that allows him to time travel.
Now, I could have gone on and on about Cable\'s origins, but it\'s so long and complex I didn\'t want to bore you guys. Anyways, Cable would be a great addition to the X-Men universe, mainly because, like Gambit and Nightcrawler, he is a total badass with time traveling and great story lines! Many that include Deadpool (we all want Deadpool and we\'re getting him!) and Apocalypse, which could tie into X-Men: Apocalypse. Apocalypse actually made a clone of Cable called Stryfe, which means Cable\'s greatest enemy is technically himself!
Not only is he easy to bring into the X-Men universe, but another must have for the X-Men movies! Bryan Singer also stated that Cable is going to be in the X-Force movie along with Deadpool! So, get ready for that!
Do you disagree with me? Did I get something wrong? Do all these questions annoy you? Well tell me in the comments below, take those polls and follow me for more super stuff! Thanks again for all the feedback and thanks for reading!
A little less focus on Wolverine (not that I don\'t love him, he just needs to share the spotlight)
Less Wolverine and more focus on other characters
Robert Downey Jr. will return to Iron Man 4… If Mel Gibson directs
So there is a chance of seeing this happening: Deadpool vs Wolverine. Because Deadpool is part of the X-Men Cinematic Universe
