OOC: Here's an overview of what you're about to experience.
It's been two months after the discovery of the mole on the team. Vandal Savage has succeeded in taking over the League, the teen division as well. Total submission comes from those who are smart. There are rebel groups spread across the world of young heroes, including certain members of the original team and some members that have joined during the revolution. These few groups are doing their best to work in secret, however.
Now, in this period of time, Savage has left the Watchtower and found he cannot return because something has closed him off. He rules from the Hall of Justice, but there are two members of the teen League that he cannot account for controlling. One has gone missing, and the other is openly defying him and spurring on many new rebels. No matter his efforts, Savage cannot get a hold of her through his controlled League. Many of the undercover teens have put their full trust in the public rebel to save them and the rest of the heroes gone bad. She is in a way their 'Last Hero Standing.'
So, there you have it... here's the prologue, and just so you know, people who actually make sense and not trying to kill the hero are not controlled. Katerrina is Little Red.
“Find her, dammit, and find her now.” The dark figure pounded once on the wall and faded into the shadows once more
Katerrina and Roy nodded stoutly. “Yessir.”
The two zipped up their black hoodies and placed on dark glasses. Katerrina picked up her gold bullet filled machine gun and Roy placed his bow in his left hand while he slung on his quiver full of gold-tipped arrows. Picking up a tracker, the wolf-girl nodded and pointed in a general western direction, and the pair followed the signal, the tracker beeping louder and more rapidly as they approached. They entered the room, silencing the device, and found--
“A decoy. Shit.” Roy threw the cell phone placed perfectly in the middle of the room onto the hard cement floor, shattering it. Katerrina relayed the information less violently.
“You know what I said. So find her already.”
“Yessir.”
The com beeped off and Katerrina looked down at the broken phone. “Really, Roy?”
“Eh. She can fix it.”
“I hope so.”
Katerrina sighed and looked out the window. Musty old, blackish-grey curtains fluttered in the breeze, and the room’s stench was smoky and stale. Outside the air was a stereotypical orange, something you saw in end-of-the-world movies. Roy watched her carefully, then surveyed the room. “You really think she can do it?”
Katerrina turned. “She has to.”
“She’s 13. No family, no friends, and we certainly can’t support her.”
“Doesn’t matter. She’s got to.”
Roy turned the wolf-girl to him. Katerrina’s once pretty light blonde hair was dirty with blood and dirt of the warehouses and every other place they’d been stuck in together. Her left ear was torn, her right was drooping, and her fangs were no longer sharp. Her light blue eyes had lost their spark long ago, the second she had realized there was no way to escape Vandal. “We’ll help her eventually,” he assured the girl that had once been Little Red.
“I hope to god you’re right, Roy.” She turned back to the window.
“Because Fin’s our last hero standing.”
