It was a cold night, the snow tumbled into the fire-caster's jet-black hair.
She sat in the snow, relaxing. Tears streamed down her rosey cheeks as memories haunted her. She kept her eyes shut as the snow around her melted into a puddle of water. She let out muffled cries.
"Fin?" His voice was soft and quiet. She cried harder.
"Fin!!" His tone raised a bit as he ran up next to her in the white, blanket setting. He set his hand on her shoulder. She cried more. Her body igniting in flames. He ignored the fire and pulled her close.
"It's okay, Fin, I'm here." He whispered in a gentle tone.
Her body estinguished and she opened her eyes, gold meeting blue.
"Adrian?" She whispered.
He smirked."That's my name"
"I'm sorry. I ju-" She was caught off gaurd by Adrian's lips meeting hers.

Nathan watched from a distance. Glaring. Why couldn't he have her?

They pulled apart. She smirked,"What? Am I too much?" He shook his head laughing and helped her up. They clasped hands and walked through the open plain of snow. They had small talks but mosty silence, taking in the scenery; taking in each other's pressence.
"Fin?" Adrian whispered.
"Yeah, Adrian?" She replied quietly.
"Do you still love Nathan?"
Fin was quiet a bit before saying something.
"Adrian, that's like asking me,'do you prefer life over death' and I couldn't answer, well because I am a phoenix so when I die, I come back," She stopped and took his hands,"I can't answer it.. mainly because I'm all jummbled up inside. But right now. At this moment. My heart, belongs to you."
"That's all I needed." Adrian kissed her agian, they broke apart and continued walking.

Adrian's eyes widened as an idea popped into his head.
Fin looked at him curiously,"What are you planning?"
Adrian picked up the firecaster and ran to a nearby ledge and set her down. He pulled her close as the sun rose.

Nathan approached the couple.

"Beautiful isn't it?" He asked. She jumped from the sudden break in silence as Adrian turned and glared at the boy.
"Why are you here?" Adrian questioned.
"Because.. you don't deserve her."
Adrian stood up and inches away from Nathan's face.
"I don't?" Adrian questioned.
"No.. She's mine."
"Back off!!"
"No!"
"NATHAN! Back off!" Adrian glared. Nathan pushed Adrian out of the way and directed his attention towards Fin.
"Fin! Who do you choose." Nathan questioned. Fin's eyes watered a bit, she bit her lip and opened her mouth but her tongue was tied.
"Fin!" Nathan yelled. Adrian interrupted.
"Nathan, leave her alone!" He clenched his fist.
"She doesn't love you Adrian!"
"Shutup!" Fin yelled and the boys went silent.
"Adrian, Adrian, I choose you.. Nathan I'm sorry but I- nevermind.. just leave!"
"Whatever.." Nathan scoffed as he walked off.

Fin watched speechless and sat back down. Adrian sat next to her and pulled her in for, yet another, kiss. They sat there as the sun finished rising and the snow fell gently. They broke apart.
"Adrian.."
"Yeah, Fin?"
"I- Thank you." Fin smiled as they binded hands and sat there in silence.
