Before a single word escape his mouth, he already knew the whole speech like the back of his hand. With ease, Batman clinked the mug onto the counter beside the keyboard and turn to face the distress bird.
"How da--"
Batman rose his palm, and like that, Nightwing shut his mouth. Unlike his former student, Batman can recite an entire novel with a single stroke of a button. Instantly, light provoke the darkness. Waking the emptiness with a tug, then tossing towards the background for the undying lust for ground.
"Phantom corps. Is that who they are?" Nightwing relaxed his brow, and tossed a hip into the air. "Who, who are they?"
"As you are aware of, certain league members, including I, will be taking a leave to deal with the crisis in space. While attending that.." Batman sighed the insult out of his lungs," meeting, you're team will be dealing with the Light whereas this team will.."
"Deal with the minor problems?" Nightwing interjected, leaning forward as he carefully eye the screen.
"I suppose." Batman solemnly agreed while he twisted his chair back forward.
Thumbing the air with his broad shoulders, Nightwing made way towards the screen to get a better look at the squad. A squad he encounter some time ago. Admittedly, he was impressed. Their name mirrored their movements to the dot.
Evasive.
If Nightwing could describe them all in one word, it would be that. The bird gawked at every projection of the Phantom's home, automatically he did a head count; one, the cat; two, Frankenstein and her creation; three, the boxer; four, ares; five, the bite. However, heads were missing. Nightwing purred but was instantly cut off as his body was whipped forward, and like that, his queries were answered.
"Dickie," he growl. "What are you doing spying on my squad?"
"Hello, Charm."
The older man simply chuckled, rubbing his stubble as he ease away. His elbows tucked neatly beside his trench coat. Dick brought his forefingers to his aching jaw with Charm's knuckles pink imprint. His irises fixed onto the cheshire cat, ignoring the lass in the background.
"What are you doing here, Charm?" Nightwing snarled, body tense and ready to pounce.
"Just here for some ass and you got plenty," Charm whistled, tilting his head to get a better view of the bird. "However, business before pleasure. I'm here to meet you properly, figuring I have to be a gentleman here."
Leather slipped out his slacks, just to offer a simple gesture of peace.
"Charm, pleasure."
"Nightwing."
Standing his ground, Nightwing took his hand and shook it firm but never letting go.
"Quit staring at me with those blue eyes, boy. If you don't mean what you serving."
Nightwing stiffen in the shake, never had he wanted, needed to punch a man like he did now. He began to wonder, could he really work with this man?

Greg Weissman, creator of Young Justice and The Amazing Spiderman confirmed that Issue 25 of the Young Justice Comic-book tie-in is cancelled at long last. Issue 25, introducing Deadshot, Braniac, etc. will be the final issue of the comic book tie-in series.
In other news, Cartoon Network has still not released a statement on why DC Nation was so abruptly cancelled and whether the animated series will actually continue or not.
Cartoon Network signs "half-season" contracts with DC Comics. They have confirmed three have been signed. Season 1, episodes 1-13. Season 1, 14-26. Season 2, 1-10. The remaining ten episodes of Season 2 are completely finished and ready for airing, however, DC has to sign a contract with CN for the remainder of the season to be aired. If the contract fails, the episodes will most likely be released on DVD.

“No.” Revenge breathed. He ran over to the two girl’s bodies, kneeling next to them. Police sirens screamed around the corner and slid to a halt in the road. Several dozen officers filed out and all pointed their guns at Red Revenge.
“FREEZE!”
Revenge didn’t move.
“HANDS UP! NOW!”
Revenge slowly raised his hands in surrender.

“You should’ve left that last part off.” Red Revenge said, still not moving. Then in one quick blur, he shot a dagger into the road and it exploded, spraying smoke everywhere. Revenge grabbed one of the girls and ran, police firing into the smoke.

"Yeah. In a minute." Scott got up, setting the paper aside and flipped off the light. He sighed and walked into his room, pulling off his shirt. Scott fell face first on the bed, sprawled across and smothering his face in the pillows. He curled up under the covers and grabbed the black stuffed cat that was sitting on his night stand. He petted the animal and cuddled against it. "I miss you." He cuddled up against it, kissing its head. Scotty smiled, "It does really look just like you Cat." he pulled the stuffed animal closer and fell asleep.
It's short, BUT SO CUTE!!!
