Sometime in the future...not telling when!

What if all you understand,

"Alright boys, this is it. You go in fighting, you come out alive. You go in and screw around you're dead" The unnatural's stood in front of a half collapsed building.  "Naliak, how much time do we have?"

Then you found it wasn't you,
Who held the sum of everything you knew, 

"Around ten minutes." Naliak looked at his watch. 
"Good. Naliak, Edel. You two rescue the remaining victims. Scuro, keep the area secure, once the area is clear of civilians, bring the rest of the that building. Tarrant your with me, we're clearing this place of Erasers. Break!" The team nodded and split up 

We're insane but not alone,

Naliak and Edel took to the shadows, teleporting into the building, Scuro leapt onto a bus and watched, Jaime grabbed Tarrant and blurred upwards. He dropped Tarrant and kicked off an eraser.

Naliak lifted up people and sat them into the shadows, 
"Keep hands inside the shadows at all time, or you might loose them." the shadows swirled and teleport the civilians into the bus where Scuro was perched on. 

What if the one thing that I missed,
Was everything I need to pass the test, 

"Are we good?" Edel looked around, 
"Yep-" Naliak gasped as a sword was stabbed through his chest. 

And if I fail what happens then,
Can I still count on you as a friend, 

Jaime stood frozen and spun around, 
"Tarrant! Get Naliak and Edel,  and head back to where Scuro is. I'll meet you there!" Jaime ran off in a different as Tarrant kicked open a door and ran.

Naliak wrapped himself in shadows, standing up only to pulled along by Tarrant 
"I was in the process of healing!" Naliak shouted as he was pulled along. 
"Shut up and keep running! Scuros about to blow this place sky high!" Tarrant leapt out the window landing on the bus, along with Naliak and Edel.

"Scuro bring it down, everyone is out!" Tarrant crouched down
"Where's Jaime!" Scuro looked around. 
"He said once the civilians were out, bring it down!"

Scuro's eyes glowed and the metal beams in the building starting snapping and the building 
collapsed.

"Jaime!" All of the teens shouted at once, they scrambled off the bus and started going through the rubble.

Unfortunately, they never found my brothers body. GCPD pronounced him dead after a two week search and rescue, but the family and the team hasn't given up hope. Daddy's become more aggressive and depressed, everybody's holding up okay..I guess. I checked to if he returned to the future, but I could never get anybody to answer. Things seem dim, but it isn't over.
