He fell to the floor eyes tightly shut as his back stunk from the impact of the fall. Nate, the purple eye and purple haired boy, sat up clenching his teeth from vexation as the combat panel painted in deep red the fail writing. It was the third time he was staring at that writing, but what arguer him the most was the one that made him face the letters.

He looked up seeing the most, in his opinion, disgusting creature with his death-black hair and blooded-red eyes extending his hand to put him from the floor. It was Jaivus, but to Nate he was just a Beetle. Nate struggle to his feet, seeing that he could Jaivus placed his hands back to his side.

"Good job you guys can hit the showers." Nightwing stated, looking both satisfied and disappointed as he looked at the pair. Jaivus immediately obeyed and proceeded to the shower

"When is he going to swallow his pride?" Koda said who along with Kaya, Martina, Ashley, Phifi, and Akash was an onlooker during the training session. Nate gave everyone a glowering look but it soften when he saw she was not there, then he stepped off and headed for the shower.

He had shower and found himself wandering out of the cave, trying to avoid everyone that was in the zeta room. He walked among the tree inhaling the rich afternoon breeze that moved turn the trees. His body body screamed for rest and sleep since the night before he had none, but he kept walking listening to the wind create its own voice as it caressed the trees. Suddenly, in the distances he spotted a someone curled up between the grass.

Coming a bit closer he saw that it was a girls frames with long green hair blowing in the wind, he grew plane it was 'the lotus flower' Melody the man hater.
"but she was always there during training session why wasn't she there today," He said to himself. He walked up a bit more to greet her but she spoke,
"So Jaivus map the floor with you again." her voice quake from trying to hold back laughter.
"Hello Melody."
She leaned backwards allowing herself to fall to the ground. She rubbed her face as she yearned, "Oh don't worry you might've won if you had gotten enough sleep."
"You think so?" He asked pleasantly, but she replied with a harsh 'no', then it hit him he asked, "Wait how'd you know I didn't get enough sleep?"
"You walked right passed the kitchen every night at eleven and stay 'til the sun begins to rise." she stop talking instantly.
"You were spying on me?" he asked, she growled looking at him with a bitter expression.
"NO."
"I guess you know the reason?" he asked as she nodded her head, "So what's the reason you aren't sleeping?" he asked her but before she could deny having sleeping problems he stated the fact that she knew the time he would wake-up and was able to now the time he would go back to his room. By then her face was in the sunset, she was refusing to give her reason.
"Does it has anything to do with your hate for men?" He asked walking up to her awaiting an answer.

"Something like that." her voice soft and innocent.
"Oh sorry you didn't need to answer that." he replied awkwardly.
"I shouldn't be telling you this but Black Canary told me I needed someone to talk to about what happened since I refused to talk to her about it," She paused, "Who do you think I should talk too?" Nate was in shock she was asking him for advise.
"I mean Ashley's helping Jaivus out with his problem, " She continued as Nate tried to wrap his head around the situation, " Martina or Kaya isn't the consoling type.." she mention everyone female she knew and her reason why they were not suitable to confide in. Then an idea came to Nate's head.
He spoke, "How about me?"
"No! how could you ask.."
"Aren't already bobbling about your problem."
she turned away from him, " You are a boy, a male I would never talk to you..."
"you're doing it right now" he mumbled
" You flirt with girls and you have problems of your own, and as the saying in your country goes 'the two broken winged birds could never use their unbroken wings to lift each other in the sky the affliction is too great."
"That's true they can't fly immediately, but they can help and support one another until they are able to fly on their own." He stated, "Melody I'm a man we don't talk about our feelings and I'm a good listener, I'll listen to you and no one will know since you hate men and I'm proud, prideful and flirtatious Nate."
Melody looked at him she didn't like the idea but he had a point because for who they are no one would suspect that they were talking like this.
"OK but on two conditions don't flirt with me or touch me in any way."
"OK."
