The two girls awoke in a box they found the night before. The sorceress had shrunken herself down into a kitten so that her daughter could comfortably fit inside the box while she sat next to the box. Julie tried to stretch in the box, but it ended up breaking. Rene had gone back to her old self and pulled the dark red hood over her head. Immediately, the red head pulled out her gun and shot the man walking past the alley they slept in. Luckily, no one else came after the shot was made.
"Mom!" Julie whisper shouted. "You can't just shoot for no reason!" Her mom looked back at her with a cold, heartless glare she had never seen.
"You do what you have to do to survive here," the red head said as she walked onto the streets. Her daughter quickly followed her.
"Mom what happened to you? I've never seen you so... Heartless and willing to kill."
"Nothing happened to me. At least, nothing in this time. If we both survive this, I'll tell you." And she continued to walk on in silence, Julie following her. As they reached another alley, the red head ducked in and smiled.
"What is that thing?"
"A phone booth," her mom said as she went over to it.
"A phone booth? Never heard of it."
"Damn, I'm old..." Julie went over and looked at it, like it was from another planet. Rene, on the other hand, pulled out a device from her back pocket and started to fix it.
"What are you using? It doesn't even look like something from Earth."
"Because it's not. An old, old friend gave it to me a long time ago."
"Alright, then what is it."
"A sonic screw driver." She began fixing wires and metal plates that had been torn by people and animals, hoping that it would restore the old transport. Eventually, a small light turned on on top of the booth. "Yes! Thank you Doctor!" She opened the door and stepped through, dragging her daughter with her.
-------
"Identification 24351 Rene Kenna Oshea. Identification Unknown. Intruder. Intruder. Intruder.."
"Oh, shut up!" The red head yelled as she ran to the computer, typing at a incredibly fast speed, creating an identification onto the computers data.
"Identification. 1009832 Julie Meredith Oshea." The red head sighed and looked back at her daughter.
"Welcome to the cave sweetie."
