Ari and Jaime were over at the Wayne manor visiting Dick and the rest of her family.Ari was kind of silent,"Ari is everything okay?"Dick asked her,
"Um yeah..I guess"she responded,"Doesn't seem that way."Bruce had commented,"Well...Is it true that you didn't really offer to take me in and that my mom gave me to you because she said I was too much to handle?"She all of a sudden asked him."Now where did you hear that from?"he asked in concern."When minion kidnapped me the other day he told me that blaming her for everything that happened to him."she explained,"Ari..I'm sorry to to tell you this,but...it's true."he answered her question.Ari started to cry covering up her eyes with her hands."Babe don't cry please.I don't like seeing you this way."jaime tried to comfort her and pulled her close.She then cried into his chest and said,"How can I stop crying when my own mother doesn't really love me."and she kept crying."Now Ari it's not that your mother doesn't love you it's just that she..well she was a very busy woman."Bruce tried to make her feel better,but instead he made it worse."Too busy for her own daughter,well you know she could have made time for me she gave birth to me for a reason didn't she?"she cried harder,"Actually there's something else you should know she had you at a young age."he confessed,"Okay,but what about minion she left him for another man when he was there for her and loved her."she went on,"So now your on his side?"Dick commented frustrated,"I saw the pain in his eyes that night.He was crying I feel bad for him he never got the chance to be the father he wanted to be,and hey he wasn't evil until that woman ditched him."she calmed down and explained with tears still in her eyes."Well he did try to fight to get custody for you,but your mother wouldn't allow it."Bruce backed her up."Don't call her that."Ari said with slight anger in her voice,"Don't call her what?'he asked"My mother.Just because she gave birth to me doesn't mean she's my mother.She didn't even try to raise me,and there is no way she ever loved me,so I don't want ANYONE to ever call her my mother again."she said with more anger in her voice.Everybody was silent until Jaime said,"I want to be able to meet this Minion guy and find out what's going on with your family."
Ari's head turned to him and she asked,"Are you sure?" He looked her in the eyes and said
yes to her.Ari then grabbed her keys and they got in the car.
Afterwards
"we're here."she told him and they got out of the car and were standing in the woods where her and Minion always met."Minion!Are you here!"Ari yelled and out of nowhere he appeared."You mean you came back?"he questioned,"Yes,um..dad this is Jaime my husband"she introduced him.Minion smiled hearing her call him dad for the first time."Nice to meet you Jaime."he held out a hand,"You too"he grabbed his hand and shook it."Um if you don't mind there's a few questions I have to ask."Jaime said,"Go ahead,"Minion said,"okay then,Why did Payton want to give up Ari?The real reason?"he asked,"She said she was to young to be a mother and had too much to do,but it was hard for her to do so your mother does love you Ari."Minion answered and it cheered up Ari some."Okay next question how badly do you want to be apart of our child's life?"he asked Ari looked shocked."More than anything in this world"minion answered,"Well I'm willing to let you on one condition."he explained
"What?"Minions doggish ears ears perked up."You need to change if you really want to be a part of our child's life you can't be trying to kill Ari or anyone else."he answered hoping he would change,"Just so you know I never tried to kill Ari or anyone,and the only reason I became this way was because of that stupid bitch that left me for some nerdy monk,and wouldn't let me see Ari.So I think that should be easy to manage as long as I can be a part of my grandchild's life."he said as sat down like a dog."Well for just in case I want you to go to a mental hospital for help"Jaime added to his offer,Minion bit his lip and groaned."Fine,but I better not get treated like some crazy person."he agreed,"Good but you'll need this to cover up those"he handed him a black beanie pointing at his ears,"Why what's wrong with my ears"he complained,"Well it's not usually normal for a human to have canine ears.Minion then took the beanie and agreed to wear it."Good your first session is this Saturday at noon.Don't be late or purposely forget."Jaime said and then drove him and Ari home as they were driving he asked her,"Hey are you okay with what I did back there amour?"she smiled and looked down at her tummy rubbing it"Yeah,I think there's good at him he was just heartbroken I could hear it in his voice and see it in his eyes."she responded and thought about how crazy her new life was about to get with Minion being in it.
