Chapter 5-
"Who is this?" Batgirl asked.
"uhhhhhh..." was all Robin could muster out.
"Zatanna Zatarra. I'm assuming you're Batgirl?" Zatanna said, sticking out her hand.
Batgirl shook it, still unsure of what the girl was doing here.
Robin finally managed to sort out his brains and turned to Zatanna. "What're you doing here? I thought your dad grounded you for life?"
"You activated the distress beacon."
"He what?" everyone asked at once.
"Heh, heh. Did I mention that before I left after our battle with Red Volcano that I put a spell on everyone in case you were very close to dying?" Zatanna asked.
"No." Robin said at the same time Batgirl said "She fought with you before?"
"With the Team." Robin said. "Batman."
"Here." the Dark Knight's voice responded. Everyone else jumped, but Robin just turned around. "Okay, what now?"
"Now we find where the Joker hid the bomb." Batman replied, stepping out of the shadows.
"Bomb?" everyone asked.
"Yeah." Robin said, pointing to a control panel with lots of statistics and numbers on it.
"Okay..." Wally said.
"You are smart." Zatanna said flirtatiously.
Batgirl glared at the girl before turning to her mentor.
"Any ideas?" she asked.
"In fact, yes." Batman said.
"You have got to be kidding me!" Zatanna said, picking up a banana peel and making a face.
"You should see Gotham's sewers." Batgirl responded, shining a light around.
Zatanna shivered and tried to pick her way around the garbage heaps without getting her uniform dirty.
"If you were a madman with a bad sense of humor and wanted to blow up a town, where would you hide a bomb?"
"Right here, Batsy!" a voice said.
The two girls jumped, Batgirl swinging her flashlight to reveal Joker sitting beside a bomb with specific markings.
"You aren't seriously sitting next to a nuke, are you?" Batgirl asked.
"Sure! View is amazing from up here! Why don't you join me?" Joker replied.
Batgirl pulled out some batarangs, but Zatanna stopped her.
"No, you might hit the bomb!"
