Redemption Prologue

"Have you retrieved everyone that I asked for Kuro Tenshi" asked a masked man as he sat down.
"Yes, everyone will be arriving soon" replied Kuro as he stepped out of the shadows. Kuro looked pleased with himself for not having masquerade reprimand him for failing yet another mission.
"Check on our prisoner and see how she's doing" ordered Masquerade, Kuro only nodded back into the shadows to check on Mauve. As he reached the dungeon-like rooms on the lower floor of the building, Kuro noticed the light scratching of a rat's claws. He reached his arm up and shot something out of his palm, smirking as the now frozen rat hit the ground and shattered. He continued on his way until he reached a room marked with a capital M on the door.
"So how's our little pet today" sneered Kuro, as he put a cold hand under the fourteen year old's chin, yanking her head up so she was looking straight at him.
"What do you want ice demon" said Mauve defiantly as she was forced to look into the cold, lifeless silver eyes of the boy. The boy tsked before letting go of Mauve's chin, smirking at the young girl's defiance.
"Nothing for now little girl" was Kuro's snide reply

Meanwhile at Mt. Justice

"Scar! Cole's scaring Kitty again!" shouted Blade from the living room. Scarlet, who was currently in her room reading got up and headed to where said conflict was taking place only to get tackled by all three.
"Aahh! What the; what was that for" questioned the red haired, fire-caster as she hit the floor. Everyone who heard the noise was now standing in the living room watch the four team members.
"What are you guys doing" asked Lucas as he looked down at the pile of the two girls and their pets. Scarlet looked up and blushed as she saw that everyone was staring at Blade, her and their two pets.
"What are you all staring at haven't you ever seen someone get tackled by her friend before" asked Scarlet as she pushed herself up into a sitting position.
"Guys dinner's ready" shouted Megan from the kitchen as Infinity helped Scarlet up. Everyone headed to the kitchen area where Megan and Zattana were setting plates for everyone.
"Man I'm starving" said Wally before he got elbowed by Willow telling him that he was always hungry. After dinner everyone went either to their rooms or the living room. There was silence before someone said something.
"Recognized Robin B-01" said the zeta tube as Robin stepped into the cave.
"Does anyone find it strange that it's been so quiet lately" said Robin pensively. Willow and Becca nodded as the rest of the group looked puzzled.
"Not saying that isn't weird but shouldn't we enjoy the peace and quiet once in a while" added Phoebe nonchalantly as some of the others wandered into the room.
"I'm a little worried though I mean ever since Aero's last attack it's been a little too quiet" Mercy added quivering at the thought of their last encounter. Infinity suggested that everyone call it a night and that we could all use some rest after being so stressed. With that everyone wen their separate ways for the night.

Scarlet tossed and turned in her bed before sitting up suddenly. She was covered in a cold sweat after seeing the horrible memories of her past and the foreboding feeling of the future. "I have to t-tell.....someone about this" stuttered Scarlet uneasily

Both girls turned to the youngest of them. She was running and waving a piece of paper in her hand. She ran right through the testing ground, flipping when she almost ran into Artemis. While Red Arrow Rae were over there making conversation with the group of teens, Ryder, Corey, and I were talking quietly. “Any idea what’s going on over there?” Ryder cautiously asked. “Maybe they’re having a pizza party?” Corey suggested.
