Hello Everybody! So! This is my first OC and soon to be Fanfic! Oohh! I hope you're all just as excited as I am! So here she is!
Name: Shayde
Secret ID: Jozyl "JoJo" Jocoti ( pronounced Jo-zell Jo-Co-Tee)
Age: 15
Alliance: YJ, Justice League
Powers: she can turn herself into a shadow , she can travel through shadows,she can meld into someone's shadow and control their movement
Personality: calm,cool, laid-back, easygoing, mysterious,very intellectual and smart but only when wants to be, she's really lazy and care free, kind of pessimistic, doesn't have a really positive attitude toward lots of things.
She's kind of hard to reach at first but she'll warm up to anyone who just tries to do the right thing. She's a loyal friend who likes to give maybe quirky kind of weird pieces of advice. She can be a very dangerous enemy too if you give her that chance...
Appearence: most of the time she'll be like a solid shadow of a girl with long hair, when in superhero form eyes can't be seen because she is a shadow...(look idk sounds a little stupid and like I'm copying someone/thing)
Civilian Appearence: dark sunglasses to hide her 'blind' eyes (really its because since she's a shadow eyes can't be seen etc... this sounds really stupid. Anyone want to help come up with a better excuse?) Light long bleach-blonde hair, wears a purple hooded jacket and blue tank top underneath, she's 'paralyzed' (again whole shadow thing) from the waist down so she she gets around in a wheelchair, to cover her 'paralyzed' legs she used a dark blue colored blanket, and often enough you'll see the tips of some sneakers underneath the blanket
Story: Her mother, Prof. Marie An Madre, and father Dr. Jacob Jocoti, were both Cadmus scientists. They met while working on a project of converting solid particles into light energy (idk if this is realistic,been used before, etc.) And it was a love at first sight thing. A couple months later Dr. Jocoti proposed to Prof. Madre. She of course said yes and shortly afterward they had finished their shared project. But before they were ready to present Prof. Madre become deftly ill and later died a couple months later. Dr. Jocoti was devastated he quit Cadmus and went rouge, he even blamed them for his love's death. He remembered the dream they had shared together of raising a family. He became obsessed over making that dream come true. Using his and his love's DNA he created a being, his own child, a girl. But he didn't want this being to be just as weak a normal human, he didn't want one that could die so easily. He wanted to give her the power to control light energy so she could protect herself from any danger and so she could live forever (idk how that works) About 4 months into the project (girl was about 14 yrs of age) he began inserting the light energy manipulation gene (why didn't he add the gene at the beginning? idk! It wouldn't fit the story if he did...) But something went horribly wrong somehow her test tube broke and instead of his child of light he created a being blind to the light (hey! Maybe that's why she's 'blind'!) loyal only to the shadows....
So? What do you guys think? Is it bad or good? Does seem idk generic you've heard it before kind of thing? Well my fanfic will be titled "Blind Faith"... Idk does that sound stupid? I'm open to suggestions!
