I get bored...

To say Fin was bored was an understatement. She was in an out of her mind, ready to collapse, nothing to do mood. Even the promising concert coming up that night for the Neon Lights didn't lighten her up.
Thinking on the concert, she leaped out of bed and slid in front of her laptop. She pulled up Garageband and grinned at her newest remix. She had a little time... Glancing at the clock, she reached into her closet and pulled out a hard, plastic case.

Mercy was stumped. She'd thought about the concert as well, and was wondering what she'd do if the crowd asked for an encore, which they usually did. She had absolutely no songs prepared for when that happened. So she sat in front of a list with Phoebe, contemplating songs from 'Raise Your Glass' to 'Rolling in the Deep.'
A guitar sounded from down the hall. Phoebe glanced up. "Probably Becca, warming up or something."
Mercy raised an eyebrow. "This early?"
Phoebe shrugged and got back to reading the list.
Suddenly a loud blast of music blared, making Mercy jump slightly. Then it was muted as a door slid shut. Phoebe looked at Mercy, and they both came up with the same conclusion.
"Fin."

They found her in the sound room, and Blade in the viewing booth. The recording light was on, and Fin was toying with her DJ equipment and laptop. Delta, Willow, Becca and Aisling poked their heads into the room as well. Blade motioned for them all to come in, and they sat in the booth. Fin, not noticing the band's presence, picked up her guitar, and hit a button on the remote. Music began playing, and, strumming along with her guitar, sang,
"You know that I'm a crazy bitch,
I do what I want when I feel like it.
And all I wanna do is lose control,

But you don't really give a shit.

Delta and Aisling grinned. Of course she'd do a song like this. Even after a breakup, Fin chose a love song that, in certain ways, explained her. So, they entered the room and started to sing back-up.

It took one look and now I'm not the same.

And since that day,

You're the one to blame."

Mercy shook her head, laughing quietly. The whole band was in on backup, and not just singing. Aisling had found a way to incorperate her chello. Now everyone was playing their instrument. They all knew the song. Mercy stopped to look at her list. An idea dawned on her.

"And that's why
I smile.
It's been a while
Since everyday and everything has felt so

And suddenly,

Fin hit pause and high-fived Delta. Laughing and chatting with the others, she realized she'd never really be over Ryan. But for now, "outta sight, outta mind" was sufficient enough. Here, she had her friends, people who really cared.
Mercy beamed at them and leaned into the mic.
"Phoebe?"
"Yeah?"
"I think we've got our encore."
Phoebe nodded. "But I won't be singing the lead." She looked to Fin, who was trying not to scream with happiness. "I mean, we all deserve our chance to sing in the limelight," she explained, recieve agreement from everyone.
Fin only nodded and smiled.
