Chapter Four:
Holly walked onto the school campus. She had to admit, it was rather impressive. The school was an old castle that stretched to the sky. The old stone was cracked and covered with moss. The empty spaces in the wall were filled with glass, so Holly assumed they were windows.
The grounds were acres wide. Holly spotted many different small buildings. Greenhouses, tool sheds, and several others that were covered up. Holly raised an eyebrow, but continued walking as if she were a regular girl and not a super-heroine investigating a possibly hostile and mind-controlled school.
Spotting the headmistress in an orange tee and black skinny jeans, which surprised Holly, she jogged over.
"Hello, Mrs. Flores! Im Holly."
"Hello, Holly." the headmistress said, shaking the teen's hand. "Welcome to our school. Oh, and just call me Catalina."
"Scan shows this 'Catalina Flores' has intents."
"What kind of intents?" Blue Beetle asked.
"I believe you would put it as...mischievous."
"What kind of mischievous?" Blue asked.
"Undetermined, the female's emotions are too jumbled to discern."
"Joy." Blue said.
"Nightwing to Blue Beetle. Who is the headmistress."
"She introduced herself as Catalina Flores, but-"
Nightwing coughed on the other end of the line.
"You okay, amigo?" Blue asked.
"What does she look like?" Nightwing asked, clearing his throat.
"Smokin'." Blue Beetle replied.
"Funny." Nightwing said. "Hair? Eyes? Height? What's she wearing?"
"Amigo," Blue said, raising his scanner arm again. "You sound like you wanna ask her out."
Nighwing choked on the other end of the line again.
"Are you ok-"
"Fine." Nightwing snapped.
Blue rolled his eyes. "Black hair, dark eyes, hispanic descent, around mid-twenties, orange tee, black jeans, also: mischievous intents."
Nightwing muttered something.
"What?" Blue asked.
"Nothing. Keep an eye on her, and remain in STEALTH MODE. Nightwing out."
"Weird." Blue said.
