FORGETTEN: All Here.
The whole team ran out of the dark woods. They ran back to the bio ship. Quickly they left in the ship heading back home. They all were gasping for air.
“Ok… that was too close” Wally said with his hands on his knees.
“Well if you hadn’t gone running into the base, we wouldn’t have almost gotten caught.” Artemis told him.
“I have super speed they wouldn’t have seen me”. Wally said.
“Even if they couldn’t it wasn’t your order Wally” Aqualad said with a firmness in his voice
“I’m sorry, I ran because” Wally stopped. He thought for a while. “Huh actually I don’t remember why I ran in” Wally responded scratching his head.
“Real smart” Artemis said.
“Well it’s not only my fault. You missed your target causing an explosion” Wally said
“Well if you hadn’t ran into me” Artemis started
“I ran past you”
‘Tell that to the water pipes that exploded!” Artemis yelled.
“The both of them were face to face looking like they were going to strangle each other.
“That’s enough!” Aqualad said raising his voice, clearly very tired. He sighed and fell into his chair.
“We are all a team, but tonight we were messy and out of order. And I understand that as the leader that is partly my fault. Luckily we didn’t get caught in our covert mission and all of us are here.”
Artemis and Wally sat in their seats. Megan was worried. They were close to being discovered. And she felt at fault. She looked at her team. Conner was sitting at the side of the ship looking out the window. Artemis had her chin resting on her palm. Aqaulad was reading over the file of our case. Wally was clearly bored and slouched in his seat. Megan turned to look at the other side of the ship to find an empty seat. An extra chair Megan thought. She made it dissolve back into the ship. Aqualad was right. At least we are all here.
