The two archers discussed Roy's plan to escape their grounded life.
"How are we going to get pass them dating addicts?" asked Artemis. Roy smiled
"Simple.We turn the lights out" Artemis raised her eyebrows.
"Then how can we see?" Roy handed her a big pair of goggles. "Night vision goggles! Of course!"
"But this time we head to the back door" Roy suggested. "That way we don't have to unlock the front door." Artemis looked questioningly at Roy.
"Why are you so eager to go to that party anyway?"
Roy walked towards his wardrobe and pulled a jacket on.
"I guess I'm just up for a little fun" Artemis smiled and stood up.
"This should work" she put on the night vision goggles and headed to the stairs. Roy soon followed. Artemis walked down the stairs watching carefully where she stepped. When she reached the floor she looked at the couple on the couch. "Pufff! Love birds!"
She headed towards the light switches and carefully turned all of the lights off. Green Arrow and Black Canary stood up.
"What just happened?"asked Black Canary trying to find her way around the room.
"The powers out." replied Green Arrow.
"No its not! Why is the TV still on then?" Black Canary bumped into a table and toppled over a vase.
CRASH!
Roy and Artemis looked at each other.
"That's our que!Run!" whispered Roy. The two archers ran across the room not even worrying about each other. Roy made it to the back door.
"Artemis." Roy whispered. He looked around for her. A shocking surprise was right ahead. A few meters away Roy saw Artemis in the arms of Green Arrow. Roy knew it was over. He was never gonna get to that party. But he was wrong.
"Dinah?" Green Arrow asked his hands on Artemis's shoulders."Did you break my vase?" Artemis stood still begging in her mind Black Canary would answer that.
"I don't know I can't see a thing!" Black Canary replied."Oliver find the switch!" Green Arrow let go of Artemis's shoulders. "Okay. Why do you sound so far away?" Green Arrow whispered to himself. "And why are you so short?"Artemis took a deep, reliving breath and ran quietly towards Roy.
"That was so close!" Roy said as he opened the back door quietly. "How did you end up there anyway?"
"Long story" Artemis replied in a shaky voice." Lets just get otta hear!" The two archers made their way outside into the dark. Artemis spun around and took a deep breath of the fresh air. "Lets go to the party we can't be late!" exclaimed Artemis. Roy agreed.

Later at Mount Justice...
Artemis and Roy stood still looking at the sight of the party.
"You made it!" Wally gave Roy a high five." I thought you weren't coming!" Artemis looked at Roy.
"Well, it was a tough adventure coming here." said Artemis. Wally smiled
"Well your just in time!" Wally led them into the huge party. Superboy and Kalder fought with and other teens bet money on who's going to win. A huge table of sweets was set at the right side of the room with people shoving food in their mouths. Wally led Roy and Artemis to a huge box of clothing.
"Its time for the entertainment!" Wally handed each of them a piece of clothing.
"Get changed and practice your dancing over there" Wally pointed towards a pole in the middle of the room.
"No way Wally!" Artemis shouted. Wally put on his puppy face.
"Oh please guys. You would be the best! I promise!"
Roy gave a huge sigh.
"It is his birthday Artemis." He walked away into another room. Artemis chased after him.
"YOUR NOT SERIOUS RIGHT?!!!"

I wake up in a soft bed, that’s the first thing that’s wrong. Adrenaline already pumping in my veins, I leap out of the unknown bed. I peer around the room, that’s definitely not Cadmus. Where am I? I ask myself. I realise another thing, I’m really tall. I look at myself in a nearby mirror. This can’t be happening someone else is staring at me through the mirror. I look like a pre-teenager, like Experiment 1535783. What was her image age again?......12? Yeah that’s it, 12 years old in human years. This must be a trick....a test! This is a Cadmus testing unit! Probably to teach...
