It was a warm day in jasper park. The weather was perfect. Humphrey was sitting with garth on the small hillside leading to the head alpha's dens, waiting for kate to finish getting ready.

"She's been in there for hours!" he complained.
"It's a big day for her, humphrey." garth responded. "If I were you, i'd smarten yourself up."
"I got ready ages ago!"
"What did you wash your fur with? Frogspawn?"
