Okay, I'm going to work on a series of articles on this club, and this is it. I will discuss 5 episodes at a time in each article, and I will do them in order. Here we go! Please keep in mind this is my opinion on the episodes, so respect my opinion and I'll respect yours. Enjoy the article!

The Boy in the Iceberg/The Avatar Returns.
I'm going to count them as two episodes but put them in the same description, I hope that makes sense. :P This episode isn't really one of my favorites. It's interesting, definitely, and it's a great way to start off an amazing series like Avatar: The Last Airbender, but it is not one of my favorites. I don't really like how the characters are in this episode. Because they're just being introduced, they're not developed and still have a lot to learn and go through before development, so that's why I don't like them as much as I do in later episodes. I do love Aang in this episode, he's really adorable in the early episodes, all hyper and such. I like Katara in this episode, but she's not as interesting to me as she is in later episodes. Sokka.. Ugh. He really annoys me in earlier episodes. He's not as funny as he is in the later episodes, and what's meant to be funny comes out as insulting. I hate how rude he is to Katara in this epsiode. Zuko is just kind of annoying in general, because of his whole, "I must find the Avatar!" Thing going on, but I still like him. Anyways, I love this epsiode, but there are a lot more that I like better than this one.

The Southern Air Temple.
As I mentioned before I'm going to count "The Boy in the Iceberg" and "The Avatar Returns" as two episodes, but put them in ne description, so this is the second description. Anyways, I really love this episode. It shows Aang's past, and explains really well about the airbenders. I learned a lot more about the airbenders from watching this episode. It also begins to show Aang's complexity. It shows how upset he is, after having all the airbenders wiped away by the fire nation. None of the other characters really showed any complexity in this episode, but I still love them anyways. Sokka is not annoying in this episode, luckily, and my opinion on Katara stays the same as the last episode. I also love Appa. Too bad Aang finds Momo in this episode, ugh! xD As for the plot-line, as I mentioned before, it's really interesting and I enjoy it a lot. Overall, I love this episode, although it is not in my top 20 favorite Avatar: The Last Airbender episodes, I really do love it. On to the next episode.

The Warriors of Kyoshi.
I actually LOVE this episode a lot. It's in my Top 20 Avatar: The Last Airbender episodes. (For now, my list for it keeps changing.) Lets go over the episode. I'll start with the characters. I love Aang in this episode, he seems to have wiped away all the sadness from before, and he's as hyper and fun of a character as always. He can get a little self absorbed around the middle of the episode, but I don't mind it that much. He is the Avatar, and I think he should get at least some credit for it. I love Katara in this episode, it's funny to see how she gets jealous of the attention Aang is getting, I do feel kind of sorry for her. Despite loving Aang and Katara in this episode, I really dislike Sokka in this episode. This might be the worst he's been in any episode, I think. He's really sexist in this episode. "Guys are better at fighting, girls are better with clothes and stuff." And, "I was not captured by a GIRL." It's a good thing he improves throughout the series, or else I would hate him. He learns his lesson in the end of the episode, luckily. Zuko, eh, I like him more or less in this episode. Suki is okay here, I don't mind her but I don't really like her. As for the plot-line, it's actually one of my favorites in an Avatar episode, I love how carefree and fun it is. (Until the end, of course.) Despite disliking a few parts of this episode, I really do LOVE this episode.

The King of Omashu.
This episode is HILARIOUS! Bumi is definitely one of the funniest Avatar characters, he made me laugh the whole way through. Anyways, I also love this episode. Like with The Warriors of Kyoshi, I love how carefree the basic plot of the episode is. It's really interesting as well. The characters in this episode.. Aang, I love how you get to know the way he handles things in situations, like the situation he was in with getting Flopsy. Katara, well, they haven't really gotten into her character at this point, so there's not much more to say about her here. Sokka is way better in this episode, and is actually funny. Bumi, as I mentioned earlier, is hilarious! The "lettuce leaf" joke, and practically everything that comes out of his mouth makes me laugh. Back to the plot-line, it's really interesting. It's really great to get to see someone who Aang actually knew BEFORE being frozen in the iceberg, and it's interesting to guess who it is in the episode, I actually don't know how I didn't think of it at the beginning. They leave hints, yet they're easy to ignore, and they make it a surprise by the end. Overall, I love this episode and it is one of my favorite Season 1 episodes.

Authors Note: Hello, everyone. It has been a tough few days. A great friend of mine has gone away, but I am trying to find comfort in writing. Just a piece here;very emotionally charged, so this will get intense, it explores a complete loss of control over one's body and mind; i just need some self expression right now.

Cold, dark, wet, quiet. Azula felt the iron walls with the tips of her weary fingers. Fingers that had not wielded fire, nor light for months. "Curses!" Azula began to beat her fist relentlessly against the cold cell floor. "Break! Crack!" The floor remained in tact. Azula was...

A week has past and Azula feels as if she has changed. She felt slightly more concern and kindness for people who she normally wouldn't care about. One day some fire nation guards were attacking a family. It was a single mother with two children. She couldn't pay her bills to the fire nation so they decided to take away her children. She tried to get them back but they held her back.

Jet saw this and ran right to them to help but they grabbed him and were going to kill him. Azula saw this and wasn't sure what to do. Her mission was about to be complete but she just couldn't let it happen. So...

Two weeks has past since Azula took her plan into action. She hadn't killed him yet but she did earn his trust. They had many fights but Jet considered them to be friends. Azula wasn't sure what to think, she still was planning to kill him but at the same time felt something strange. She just saw something inside him, even though he irritated her, she also found something about him interesting.

One day they were at the peak of the hide out, where Jet looks over the city to see if there's trouble. Azula was watching over it being unsure when she'll kill him. Jet spotted her and thought he'd talk...

I am under the impression that the writers of Avatar were Eragon fans. (From the Inheritance Cycle) Here is why: (as you can guess, I like making lists)

Eragon and Saphira are the last free dragon and rider (besides Oromis and Glader). Eragons’ duty is to quote: “restore balance to the land” If you’re going to compare Oromis and Glader to someone, it would be Avatar Roku and his (surprise surprise) dragon.

In the Eragon world, there are the Dwarves, the Elves, the humans, and the Dragons. The Dragons were all killed in the fall of the riders which was (not joking) 100 years before.

In...
