As Esther wandered the streets of London with her cousin, she thought of Faith and Chiwen. Chiwen, very... very...well... persistent. Esther couldn't think of another way to describe her. Yes, she did love Chi-chi very much, but she sometimes not on Esther's nerves. She was constantly trying to bring her to this 'Christ'. She did admire Chi-chi for her persistence, but she did it so often, it felt as is Esther were being nagged. I that's all Christians did, Esther didn't want any part of it.

Faith, an angel in disguise if there ever was one. She did love Faith ever so much. She knew that bestie groups of three weren't meant to have a favourite bestie, but she couldn't help but favourite Faith. She was so... everything. She was everything that Essie loved. She put up with Faith's temper tantrums, she did things with Essie, even if she wasn't feeling up to it. She had helped Faith back on her feet when her grandmother had died of a heart attack. She was just always there for Essie. Essie knew she was a Christian, and, if all Christians were like that, she definitely wanted a part of that. Faith never nagged her like Chiwen did.

This is where confusion came in. Who was the real Christian? They both claimed they were, but who was the fairdinkum (genuine) Christian? She occasionally asked Faith about it, and Faith answered her questions best she could. She would have to talk to Faith about it when she got back.

They were both wonderful people, but Chiwen was always serious, and seemed to have a list of rules to follow. Faith, on the other hand, did live differently to others, but she knew how to relax and have fun. Chiwen never seemed to relax. She was always busy doing something. Even though they were besties, they were definitely two opposites. One red, one blue. One hot, one cold. One sweet, one sour.

As she walked into a shop with her cousin, she noticed a nice short dress. She immediately thought of Faith. Would she buy this?, Esther thought. She did so want to be like Faith, and that meant in dress code, as well. No, she decided eventually. Faith wouldn't wear this. So she put it back on the shelf. She walked out of the store of what she considered a very 'Faith-like' pair of jeans. Of course, because she wasn't a Christian, she didn't pray. She wished. So she whispered a wish for Faith.

Dear, sweet, Faith, I wish for good luck to follow you all the days of your life...
