Jeff entered the home of his victum. The house was dark and showed no signs of anyone being awake so he figured his victum was asleep.
His victum, Believe Bridesmaid, was a middle aged man who lived alone and Jeff found him to be the perfect target. He had been watching this man for weeks and knew everything about him and how his house was structured so he knew exactly how to get to the bedroom.
He crept into the room with his knife ready but suddenly stopped in his tracks when he saw a young, pale, raven haired, boy sitting on the bed with Believe Bridesmaid, holding an empty seringe, his red eyes staring at Jeff in slight shock and curiostiy.
"Hello, Jeffrey."
"Who the hell are you?" Jeff growled, clutching his knife.
"Hmm not a very nice first impression but my name is Beyond Birthday."
"What the fuck are you doing here?"
"The same thing as you...killing him."
No. That's not right...this was JEFF'S victum. Who does this little punk think he is stepping in on Jeff's kill?
"Only diffrence is," Beyond continued as he pulled a rope out from behind the bed, "His death will benifit me. You're just killing to be killing. Now if you don't mind, I have a detective to out-wit," he tied the rope around Believe Bridesmaid's neck and began to strangle him.
The unconcious body of the man twictched as if he could feel it but do nothing to stop it. Beyond's face protraid no emotion as he watched his victum suffer which angred Jeff more than he already was. How could he show no emotion in something as brilliant as taking a human life? It was an insult to Jeff and he finally lunged at Beyond, pulling him off Believe Bridesmaid and tackling him to the ground.
Beyond hissed and struggled from underneath Jeff.
"How dare you! Who do you think you are? You're nothing but an amature, I am the real deal!" Jeff pressed the knife to Beyond's neck, begining to draw blood, and starting to laugh at the sight of it.
"Amature am I?" with surprising strength Beyond kicked Jeff off and rose to his feet, "I know more about death than you ever will. Death is apart of me."
"Is that so?" Jeff got up, "We'll just have to see about that," he lunged at Beyond, jabbing the knife into his side.
Beyond hissed and stabbed Jeff in the shoulder with the knife he pulled out of his back pocket. Jeff shouted and stabbed Beyond in the leg, running it down to his knee, causing a huge gash on his leg.
Beyond growled and plunged his knife into Jeff's neck, pushing him down then pulled a seringe, with blue liquid inside, out of his sock and injected it into Jeff's chest.
Jeff's body went numb and his vison blurred.
Beyond grinned down at him like a mental patient in a horror movie that had just escaped, "You will not get in my way to defeat L."
Jeff awoke in Believe Bridesmaid's living room, tied up on the couch. Beyond was no where to be found. Did that little rat escape???
Jeff began screaming at the top of his lungs and thrashed around in attempt to break free but ended up rolling off the couch.
THUD!
"Shh!" Jeff looked up to see Beyond standing there. "Do you want to wake the neighbors? It's bad enough we almost woke them up with our little fight."
"You! Untie me, now!"
"What's the magic word?"
"Mother fucking piss ant I'll rip you in half!!!!!!!!"
"No that's not it."
Jeff thrashed around some more and Beyond laughed.
"You're rather amusing, you know? I might keep you as a pet."
"I swear to God when I get loose I'm gonna rip out your organs and shove them down your throat!!!!!"
"Ooo Jeffery has a temper."
"SHUT UP!!!!!!!!"
Beyond laughed, histaricly, snorting every now and then. It was a rather goofy laugh but also very disturbing.
"I'll tell you what, Jeffery, why don't you cool off while I clean house then we'll SEE if you've been good enough to be set free," Beyond walked off into the shadows of the dark house.
"Get back here! I'm not done with you!!!!" Jeff thrashed around, screaming and shouting till he finally exhausted himself.
He watched Beyond clean Believe Bridesmaid's house from top to bottom then he took a hammer and nails and went back to the bedroom.
Jeff raised and eyebrow then squirmed around till his knife fell out of his pocket then into his hand, something he probably could've thought of earlier if he weren't throwing a fit, and cut the rope off. He then snuck into the bedroom where he saw Beyond nailing some weird doll-like thing to the wall.
"Well look at that," Beyond said without looking back, "You got free."
"What the hell are you doing?"
"It's apart of my plan to defeat L. By the way, you're free to go."
"Huh? You're just going to let me go so easily?"
"Yes. I can't kill you now, it's not your time, so please, leave and stay out of my way."
Jeff snarled. No way was he leaving without some blood shed. He took a step toward Beyond.
"Are you really going to try again? If I didn't die the first time it's not my time either."
Jeff stopped. He actually might have a point....
"How do you know about when people will die?"
"...My eyes give me the power. I can also see people's names," Beyond turned to Jeff, "Now please, leave I have business to tend to."
