First off, I would like to say that I have absolutely no problem with the C.A.T. spot and have just joined myself. If anything, I think that this spot is a good idea and is definitely NOT an anti-spot. The point of this article is to explain the point of view of a Twilight fan that does not just like the series because Edward Cullen is SO HOTTT <333, Vampires are AwEsOmE, etc. etc.

Let me start off by saying that I am SICK of uneducated Twilight fans making the rest of us look like a bunch of air-heads. By uneducated I mean fans that scream their heads off whenever they see a picture of Robert Pattinson or comment picture after picture writing “ OMG, isn’t he so sexy?” I contribute to the Twilight spot but am beginning to get sick of unintelligent comments on every page by some members of the spot.

Ok, let’s talk about the books. I understand that the plot is not complicated and that many people think that Bella is not a great role model but there is something inside me that can’t help but like the books. I am often embarrassed of being such a big fan but hey, what can I do? I don’t flaunt that I am a fan to people I know because I do not want to be just “another obsessed, twilight teenage girl.” This book series has become way too commercial and I miss the days when I was the only fan in my school. Now I can’t go anywhere without hearing or seeing something that is about the books or movie. Overrated? Yes, but I still can’t help enjoying myself when reading the books.

    To wrap things up I just would like to say that I am willing to discuss anything about the books and am looking to have some in-depth discussions. I am not here to get on my high horse and defend Twilight; I am just here to listen to what other people have to say about the books.
