Still Lenzetta’s POV
I appeared at the familiar house that I had previously been to. The house that was causing my madness.
Wouldn’t you think that after you killing their son, these people would have moved to a place less harmful? It makes sense, does it not?
“That would make sense,” I told myself. At that realization I was beginning to doubt whether my plans would work or not. I continued to the front lawn and glanced over the house to see if I could spot any sign of movement within the windows, or any lit candles to indicate light.
I guess you didn’t think this through…
“You should know that I never think anything through. Thinking things through isn’t as fun.”
Rain dripped off the hood of my cloak and I shivered. The hand that held the blade was turning red from the cold wind that howled with the storm. Pulling my hood further over my face, I hurried to the backyard to see if I could spot anything that the family had still lived here. I began to notice that since I had killed this child, the house and yard had started to become worn down. It’s like the life of the child and the life of this house were connected somehow, and with the death of the boy, the death of the house came shortly after.
See what you’ve done? You’ve ruined this family.
“Shh,” I said, hushing my thoughts. Theres no time for making me feel self pitty now.
As I made it to the backyard I noticed a stone sticking out of the ground by the fence. I glanced at the back of the house to make sure I wasn’t being watched, and walked over to investigate. I felt a pang of guilt in my chest as I read the granite rock.

Here lies our brave little boy.
Billy Clemens
December 2, 1985- September 21, 1995
He risked his lives for ours. If only we could’ve protected him…

Well, you must be really happy now. Killing a ten year old boy. What where you thinking? Where you in your right mind?!
I shook my head, trying to rid myself of such thoughts. Of course I was in my right mind! The boy had a knife pointed at me, isn’t that considered self defense? Taking one last look at the grave, I frowned and turning my gaze towards the house.
Just leave this place, will you? There’s no use of even being here. Like this will even get you the closure that you need. The parents must have moved on by now. This is just hopeless.
    “You’re right..”
I had to admit it. For once, the annoying voice in my head was right. It was clear that the parents of little Billy Clemens moved on, never to return to the place that brought them so much heartache. I sighed deeply. My mission had failed before I had even gotten a chance to truly start it. This was pathetic. I was pathetic. Who knew that one little place in a muggle town could make a person feel useless and unimportant to the world. Who knew the life of one little boy was needed so much more than mine, and I had taken that away. Is that why it had been storming since that night? Because of that murder? It did make sense. Heaven knows how long that boy could have lived for. He could’ve went to school and done great things. Even could’ve grown and started a family for himself and cared for his child just as much as his parents cared for him. But life was for the alive, and Billy Clemens sure wasn’t living.
I continued to stare at the house as these thoughts went through my head. Every emotion possible was racing through my system as I tried to think of what to do now. The windows were black with the darkness of the house and still no movement went through the building. I give up. There is no one here and I’m not going to waste my time searching for things that cannot be found. I needed to do something though. Whether there was a family here or not, I needed to rid myself of the memory of this place. Placing my knife carefully in my pocket, I instead took out my wand.
Okay…Now what are you going to do?
Without another word, I pointed my wand at the small house and gave it a rough flick.
    “Incendio.”
I growled that one word and fire flashed from my wand. Within seconds the home was up in flames. Black smoke rose to the sky and sparks flew in every direction.
Leave now, if the authorities come, you’ll be off to prison before you can snap your fingers.
I nodded at my thoughts and ran out of the yard and into the street. The house actually looked quite beautiful as the fire consumed it whole. The colors of the flames entranced me for a moment before the neighbors began to turn on their lights. I quickly got in position, turned my head to the side, and I was gone. And as I began to vanish away, shock overtook me, for I’m certain that I heard faint screaming coming from the house that I set to flame…
