12 weeks later, L and Misa went to go see Dr. Kagato to see what their baby was.
"Congratulations. It's a girl," Dr. Kagato said, after the altrasound, smiling.
Misa looked at L and smiled, "you hear that? we're having a daughter..."
"Yes..." L smiled back.
"I'll go get your check," Dr. Kagato bowed left.
"So what do you want to name her?" Misa asked as she got her purse and things, getting ready to leave.
"I'm not sure," L watched her, thumb to lips, "what do you want to name her?"
"Hmmm," Misa tapped her chin in thought, "I was thinking something like Aki...no, Kimi? no no wait...Saki," she smiled at him, "yes, Saki is a perfect name."
L smiled back, "then Saki it is."
Dr. Kagato came back with their check. L took it, studied it, then gave him a wad of money. Dr. Kagato looked at it in shock at first then left with a big grin on his face.
"Where did you get that kind of money?" Misa asked, a bit stunned herself.
"Being the world's greatest detective has its advantages," L winked at her. Misa giggled. "Come on lets go."

A couple days later. Misa came downstairs to where everyone else was in the main room, "L!!!"
L flinched at her shrill voice, "yes dear?"
"I'm hungry! Where are my chips!?"
"You ate them all..."
"Why didn't you get me more!?"
"I did, you ate those too..."
"Ugh! Worthless men!" she stormed back upstairs, grumbling to herself.
L sighed. "Mood swings?" Matsuda asked. L nodded, "she's been that way for the past couple of days. Nothing pleases her..."
"Women always get that way when their pregnat," Soichiro said. "Yeah I remember when MY wife was pregnat. Boy let me tell ya," Aizawa chimed in. They began sharing pregnat wife stories as Matsuda listened and L was on the computer, not listening. He was to busy thinking about when the baby DID come...Kira was still about and it was harming his daughter's safety. He glared over his shoulder at Light who sat on the couch, flipping through a magazine. He had been so busy he hadn't thought of a plan on how to catch him...but he had to soon, NEEDED to soon...
