Lexii stepped up to the shipping crate. She was shaking with both excitment and fear. She had never met another lemur or a penguin. There had been a few animals at her past small zoo but she was the only lemur and there was no other animals except 2 lions, a tiger, and a couple of tropical birds.
She shook her head. She had to do this!
She jumped into the shipping crate. It was just big enough for her to sit down in. If she stood up her ears were about an inch from the top of the box. This is what she would be living in for the next 5 hours.. Oh joy..
Lexii: *kicks the inside of the crate gently* *looks up at Blowhole* It's nice. A little small but at least i can stand up! *smiles hopefully*
Dr Blowhole: Sorry about the size. We couldnt find a bigger one.
Lexii: Its fine. Really, it is! I will only be in here a few hours anyway! *smiles*
Dr Blowhole looked down at her in the crate. She would be gone for at least a month, mabey even more. He was going to miss her. He got lonely with just his lobsters. They didnt talk very much and were almost scared of him. He sighed sadly. Lexii must have noticed because she looked at him with concern.
Dr Blowhole: *quickly smiles* Uh, sorry. Just thinking about our plan. Heh.
Lexii: *brushes bangs out of her face and smiles nervously* So, are we ready to go? The sooner i can get out of this crate, the better. *smiles*
5 hours later: Central Park Zoo. Lemur habitat.
Julien stared at the crate that had suddenly appeared infront of his throne. Was it his birthday? No.. Was it King Julien Day? No.. That was last week. He decided to ask Maurice.
Julien: Maurice! Come here at once!
Maurice: *groans* What is in now your Highness?
Julien: What is this BOX doing here? Mort! Investigate! Now!
Mort: Yay! *knocks on box then opens door in side* *closes door* Shhhhh! She is sleeping! *giggles*
Maurice: She???
Julien: *opens door again* *stares in amazment*
Lexii: *wakes up, sees Julien and kicks him into the air*HI-YA!
Julien: *flies against his throne, slides down looking dazed*
Mort:*giggles quietly*
Lexii: Oh! I am so sorry! I didnt mean to!!! reflex... *guilty smile** holds out hand to help him up*
Julien: Heh. *takes her hand* Happens all the time! * smiles crazily*
Lexii:*looks confused* *asks Maurice* Did i hurt him that bad?
Maurice: Nah. He's always like that. *smiles*
Lexii: ok... Oh! Im Lexii by the way! *smiles and adjusts flower-cam in hair*
Maurice: Im Maurice and this is Julien and Mort.
Julien: *kisses her paw*
Lexii: *blushes and looks at Maurice*
Maurice: *shrugs*
Lexii: *smiles* well, lets go meet the neibors!
