It was a hot, sunny day in the Central Park Zoo and the city was experiencing one of it's usual Summer heat waves. The penguins were barely making it by with a single paper fan. "Rico! Stop hogging that thing! Im going to die of a heat stroke!" Kowalski scolded, snatching the fan from Rico and attempting to cool himself off. Rico just grumbled and crossed his flippers. Skipper looked at Kowalski, Rico, and Private. "Where the heck is Lilly?" He asked, scanning the area. Kowalski then pointed down at the dried up pool, and Skipper looked down to see Lilly laying at the bottom, pretending to swim....*facepalm*
"Come oooon! I need water! This backsrtoke is getting me NOWHEEEERE!" Lilly yelled, clearly suffering from heat exhaustion. Skipper just looked at Lilly with a creeped out look.
"Uh...Need some help down there?" He asked akwardly.
Lilly blew her bangs out of her face and sat up quickly. "Uh. N-No! NO! Im fine! heh. I was just...." Lilly's voice trailed off and she jumped out of the 'pool' red-faced. "Nevermind..."
"Skippa. It's too hot out here." Private whined, laying on his back. He then snatched the fan from Kowalski and began frantically waving it in his face. Lilly saw this and took the fan from Private. "Ladies first." She taunted, sticking her tounge out at Private and fanning herself off. Private glared at her. "Hm. If only you ACTED like one." He countered with a smug grin. "OOOOOH!" Rico exclaimed, laughing his butt off at Private's comment. Lilly stopped fanning herself and looked at Private. " And what is THAT supposed to mean, mister LUNACORNS and RAINBOWS!?" Lilly asked, angrily getting in Private's face. Suprisingly, Private didn't cower away.
"You know EXACTLY what it meant...SHEMALE!"
"THAT'S IT!"
Soon, Lilly was fighting on the floor with Private. Slapping, poking, and punching. The fight didn't last long however.
"Alright you two. Stop fighting like a couple of mammals." Skipper demanded, pulling Lilly off of Private, her flippers crossed. Private sat up dizzily. "I-Im sorry Lilly. I suppose the heat just got to me." He giggled nervously and stood. "Aww..How can I stay mad at YOU?" Lilly replied, promptly hugging the cute little penguin.
"Okay, okay....nancy cats." Skipper muttered, rolling his eyes. "What the heck are we gonna do about this heat? I mean, just LOOK at Rico!" The team then looked at Rico, who was having some sort of seizure on the floor. Lilly's eyes grew wide. "Uh..shouldn't we.."
"Nah, he'll be fine." Skipper.anwered with a shrug. Kowalski picked up a clipboard and looked through some of the pages. "Well Skipper, we COULD go on vacation...mabey somewhere...tropical?" He suggested, holding up a brochure for Madagascar. Skipper looked, at the brochure, then at Lilly, then back at Kowalski. "Too many uh....memories...heh." He replied. Lilly blushed very lightly and looked at the clipboard as well. "What about Manhattan beach? Im sure there are some areas where humans aren't present." Kowalski thought of this for a second, then nodded his head. "I suppose that could work out. And we can be out there in an hour or so." He said, hi-5ing Lilly.
"Then it's settled! Manhattan beach it is." Skipper announded. The others cheered and Rico got up from his mini seizure.

After they got their supplies packed into the back of their car, Skipper pulled Lilly aside. "Hey..you mind driving? I don't quite trust Rico on long distance trips." he asked, looking over at Rico nervosly.
"And what makes you think you can trust ME?" Lilly and answered with a wink. Skipper just stood there. "Just give me the keys sir." Lilly then took the car keys, tapped Skipper's beak, and waddled to the car.
"Hm...if I didn't know any better, i'd say she was flirting with me." Skipper chuckled, then made his way to the car.

While the penguins were getting into their car, Alice was outside of the Zoo. She was talking to someone.
"Yeah, I have this stupid Zookeeper's conference to go to this weekend and I have no one else to watch over these stupid animals. You're the only guy I could find on such short notice."
"Don't worry Ma'am. I will be SURE to watch over things while you're away."
Alice looked up at the man. "Oh! One more thing. Be sure to watch yourself around the penguins. I don't quite trust them."
The man then took off his shades. "Neither do I."
