Arriana awaited her friends patiently. She couldn't wait to get out of fire. The sonic boom from each mine was getting to be unbearable.
The little black truck was almost loaded, only two penguins short. Arriana waited still for roxxanne. The four of them were experts and avoiding the bombs, no matter how engeniously planted they were, no one ever got-
BAM!
Another mine went off. Adriana wasn't scare of it, but after a few minutes, when the bombs and mines had all been set of, she looked around for signs of roxxanne.
Then she saw the most disturbing thing of her life. A small peice of skull, covered in flesh and blood, detatched from the rest of iy's body... Belonging to roxxanne.
Arriana backed away, shakin her head at the though of roxxanne being blown to bits. She turned as ran back to the black vehicle, and screamed with her life, "GO, GO, GO!!!" she closed the doors as the engine revved up.
"but, what about roxi, sir?" a small young male penguin asked, right next to arriana.
"uh, well, ya see... She had to stop the mines... And she promised she would be back tommorow," she said, a guilty look on her face.
Korrina understood it, though. Her father had trained her hard in accepting things like these. As well as in the scientific field, and in history and math. But she just didn't know what to tell him about her sister. Or even if she should tell him.
Back at their base, korrina sat undecidedly at the phone. Her flipper was teatering back and forth, back and forth, wandering of she should dial the number.
Her confusion was interrupted by mark, the small British penguin. He came up to jotting with tears in his eyes, hugging her.
"she's dead, isn't she?" he asked.
". . . Yes, roxi is dead." it didn't seem appropriate to call her by her nickname, but it fel right, calling her sister roxi for her whole life, and now she'd have no one to share her knowlegde and laughs with.
"if she's dead, why did Arriana lie to me?" mark asked, Withdrawing from her grasp. "and, and why is she in there saying 'she will come back, she will come back' Over and over to herself?" he wiped away tears.
"some people do that when they lose a loved one, they'll tell themselves whoever has died will come back, and start to believe it... Let's hope this isn't the case," she said.
Korrina say back down and watched as mark slowly walked away. She looked at the phone again. Without though she are fully picked it up, and dialed the number to her father.
It picked up, and heard her father's deep voice on the other end. "um.. Hello? Who is this?" korrina couldn't bring herself to speak. She imidiatly slammed the phone back into place.
Just then the doorbell rang. Korrina opened to see someone she never saw before: a penguin about as short as her, light grey eyes, and a small suitcase in hand.
"hi, are you adriana?" she asked, looking at a small sheet of paper in her flipper.
"it's arriana, and no. I'm korrina, the small one is mark, Adriana has green eyes and a scar," korrina answered dryly, leading this new penguin inside.
"so, how were you orphaned and handicapped?" the new penguin asked.
"my father abandoned me after my mother wet missing. I still have his number. And I'm handicapped with dementia, dyslexia, and a prosthetic flipper," Korrina answered. She knew why this penguin had asked. Their home was one for a team of penguins who were orphaned, handicapped, or both. Everyone who had ever lived there had been both, though. But the team was still strong and alive.
"Oh. I'm- so sorry. I-" Koreans cut off the new penguin.
"shut up and give me info. I want a name, why your here, who you talke to, and what you story and handicap is," she stopped walking and turned around. Korrina didn't get why she had to be like this, so, so grown up, and author active. She still had her fluffy grey down, and she was only a child.
"I'm Marny. I'm here because- well fr the same reason you are. I was given up for adoption, but my adopted parents died, and they couldn't find my real parents. I have a speech assue," Marny paused or breath, and korrina did notice a speech issue. But she'd felt with that and could understand her. "an I talked to Adriana," Marny finished.
"ARRIANA!" korrina corrected.
They reached the room where Koreans had just been sitting, and arriana had somehow slipped in, unnoticed.
"oh, she's here!" arriana said joyously.
"yep, and, why did we need someone new, when... Never mind," korrina said.
"korrina, this roxxanne," artisans said.
"Marny," she said, "it's Marny."
"oh, right,"
Just then a scream was heard in a nearby house. The four of them wandered in uninvited and took in the scene before them:
A penguin about korrina's age, laying on the floor. Blood was coming from her chest, where a black knife handle protruded out...

The next day, Jenny woke up. She put on her robe & went down to the lobby to find Junan.
"Junan? Junan?" Jenny walked out of the elevator to see if Junan was at the lobby.
"Jenny?" Junan said with a surprise.
"Junan? What are you doing in those clothes?" Jenny asked.
"Do you like it? I joined a gang." Junan said while smiling.
Jenny was angry, she didn't like what Junan had done.
Mya & I ran to the lobby. "What's going on?!" Mya & I was shocked.
"Junan, you're not suppose to be in a gang when you're with me! Your my boyfriend! Okay, you know what?" Jenny said with anger.
"Tell me what." Junan said.
"No, no. Don't tell him what." Mya said.
"We're done." Jenny said.
"Jenny!" Mya & I said.
"So your breaking up with me?" Junan asked.
"No, no, no, she's not." I said
"Yeah, I am." Jenny said while leaving the lobby.
"Oh, she is." I said.
"Your being ridiculous!" Junan shouted at Jenny while she's leaving.
"Why do care?! I'm not your girlfriend anymore!" Jenny shouted back.
