Lexii's POV
I was growing more and more nervous the closer we got to the park. I glanced at Julien and could tell he was deep in thought. Taking a deep breath I decided to just concentrat on putting one foot in front of the other. But my mind kept wondering...
I DID love Julien, but love was such a scary feeling for me. Growing up with Blowhole taught me absolutely nothing about love! I mean, I love lemonade and fresh air and the color blue but the love between me and Julien was different. I didn't even know this kind of love existed before and now that it was all being thrown at me... I just didn't know what to do...
Third person POV
The two lemurs strode into the park and came to a stop under an oak tree. Julien knew what he had to do. "Lexii?" he said and she slowly looked up at him. He took her soft gray paws in his slightly larger and darker ones. Lexii swallowed as she looked down at their paws. Julien took a deep breath and began to sing.
"I can see it in your eyes
and feel it in your touch
I know that you're scared
But you've never been this loved
It's a long shot baby
I know it's true
But if anyone can make it
I'm betting on me and you"
Julien pulled Lexii closer and brushed her bangs out of her deep blue eyes.
" Just keep on moving into me

The best is yet to come
And don't fear it now
We're going on our way
And that sun is shining
On a brand new day"
He spun around and began to dance with Lexii as he sang to her. Music and love filled her heart and Lexii began to smile. Every time Julien touched her hand she felt electricity between them. Maybe love wasn't so bad after all.

And it's a leap of faith
But I'm never giving up

Once in a Lifetime Love"
When the song ended Julien spun Lexii around and caught her in his arms. They were both breathing heavily from dancing. Lexii blinked slowly and looked into Julien's eyes. And it was just... Love.
Juliens's POV
The look in her eyes let me know it was being the right time. I smiled and stood up straight and tall. I put one arm around her waist and one behind her neck. I pulled her close and kissed her lips softly. At first, she was very tense but then after a few agonizing seconds, I felt her relax and lean into the kiss. She slided her arms around my neck. I smiled as my heart pounded. I knew that this was what true love feels like.
Lexii's POV
As our kiss grew stronger, every ounce of fear I had melted away. We both stood there holding each other with our lips still pressed together. I smiled and knew that this is what true love feels like.
3rd person POV
They finally broke apart and looked into each others eyes, still holding each other.
Julien put his head against Lexii's and closed his eyes. "I love you." he whispered.
"I love you too" she whispered back.
The two lemurs smiled and enjoyed the moment. It was perfect.
