Author's note: It was CC's turn to write, so this is her chapter! ^w^ Oh and sorry for the long wait, people!
After about an hour of talking, the sun was starting to set, and the kittens noticed the airport was less busy. Mist-Wu took a quick look around.
"I must go!" she gasped, and quickly started limping away. Chloe came up to her.
"Where are you going?" she asked slowly.
"I do not know," Mist-Wu admitted. Chloe only smiled.
"May I join you?" she asked. Mist-Wu nodded stiffly, but didn't smile back. She still wasn't sure if she trusted this other cat, but figured the only way to find out was to get to know her... unfortunetly...
The two cats started walking. Chloe kindly kept at a slower pace so Mist-Wu didn't get left behind. Every now and then, Mist-Wu stopped, and licked her injured paw. Before long, the kittens found themselves in a big city. There were humans everywhere. The cats scamped around, trying not to get trampled, and found themselves in an alley. There was a big cardboard box tipped on its side, and Chloe jumped inside.
"C'mon in, Mistie!" she said. Big mistake. Mist-Wu jumped inside, and imedietly pounced the unsuspecting cat.
"Don't you EVER call me that!" she snarled. Chloe wriggled out from under Mist-Wu.
"Woah! Calm down! What did I do?" she asked.
"Never mind," Mist-Wu said, still sounding a little angry, and turning away. "Just... don't call me that." She curled up in the box, and seemed to be asleep. Chloe did the same. It was gonna be a long first night in the city...
