Chapter 8
"What are you doing here?" Madi asked. Cam smiled.
"You look gorgeous in the sun, Madi!" Cam said. Oh God no, Madi thought.
"Who's this?" Skipper asked.
"That's Cam, my partner." Madi said.
"What is he doing here?"
"I'm here to save Madi!" Cam said happily.
"What?!" Madi exclaimed, "But I can take care of myself!"
"Of course you think that! But why don't you ditch the tough girl image and go for the gorgeous girl image?" That sent Madi over the edge.
"Are you saying I'm not pretty?" Madi asked, exasperated.
"Duh! What, are you going for the idiot girl image too?" Cam asked coldly.
"I was just making sure because, oh, I don't know, I'M PRETTY SURE YOU DON'T WANT THE CRAP BEATEN OUT OF YOU!" Nobody said a word. Madi felt hurt and humiliated. Cam was silent for a second, then he smirked.
"You wouldn't do that to your partner , would you?"
" My partner wouldn't insult like there's no tomorrow, unlike you will be when I finish you off!" Madi snapped. Suddenly she got it. She kicked Cam in the gut and he was thrown back. He flew to the very edge of the roof and he grabbed the edge before he could fall.
"Trying to save yourself is pointless!" Madi said. Cam put his feet against the wall and swung his feet. Then he back flipped and landed on the roof again. Madi took out her freeze ray and aimed it at Cam. She pulled the trigger.
“No! Stop!" Skipper said. Her chopped the ray in half before she could shoot it.
“Madi, you can't shoot your partner! We need him, you need him!" Skipper said. Madi ignored him. She pushed him behind him and took another freeze ray. She aimed it and pulled the trigger again. Cam went to the right and dodged it. She shot at him until she ran out of amo. She slid towards him and kicked him in the head. He ducked and jumped onto the vent. He dived at Madi head first. She used abrasive manuvers and jumped out of the way.
"Rico!" She cued. Rico regurgitated a bomb and Madi grabbed it.
"No! Please don't do that to me!" Cam shouted, panicking.
"Why? Because you don't want to.show everyone who you really are?!" Madi shouted. She threw the bomb at Cam's head and it blew up. Smoke went everywhere and Madi got engulfed in it. She coughed really hard and tried to crawl out of it. Her eyes burned. She grabbed her grappling gun and shot it into the air. It caught the edge of a higher building. Madi made a bad move and backed up. She lost her footing and fell backwards. She held onto the grappling gun and tried to get her feet up on the side of the building. She accidentally pressed a button on it and it pulled her up. It pulled her up halfway until the rope snapped. She pressed another button and another hook shot out and grabbed the side of the building. It pulled her up all the way.
Author's Note: Madi is now on the building higher than then the last.
"MADI!" Skipper called. Madi looked at the building below.
"Oh, hey Skipper!" Madi called back. Skipper froze, then looked up.
"You guys need some help? Here!" Madi shot the grappling gun into the roof on the building below. The hook dug into the cement. She tied the other side of the rope to the roof
"You can climb up now!" Madi shouted. She turned around and came face to face with Cam. Half of his face had come off and the wires were showing. Madi prepared to attack, but the android fell to the ground and burst into flames.
"Ha! I knew it!" Madi said triumphantly.
"You knew what?" Skipper asked. He looked at the android.
"It was a clone, Skipper! The REALCam would never make such an amateur mistake!" Madi laughed.
"But the REAL Cam WOULD call a search team to catch you!" Madi turned around and saw Cam and some penguins with stun guns and attack armor.
"Madi, this ends now!
Chapter 9
"You have to stop this before you get hurt!" Cam said.
"Kind of too late for that, huh?" Madi asked sarcastically.
"I meant before you get shot with 50 STUN GUNS!" 50 more penguins came out of hiding and aimed their guns.
"That's enough to kill you. Which is why we want to stop this once and for all! You may be our best agent, but I know you can't escape this!" Cam said. "Someone get Code 81 out of here! We don't any misfires!" Eight penguins came and took Skipper, Private, Rico, and Kowalski away.
"You can't do this to us, or Madi! She doesn't deserve this!" Skipper shouted, "RICO!" Rico regurgitated a smoke bomb. It blew up and penguins started to cough. Madi ran towards the team and kicked the penguins that were guarding them. All of them shot at her, but only a couple got her. They all ran, but soon, the smoke cleared.
"GET HER!" Cam shouted.
"Oh crap!" Madi said. "Get in front of me! You won't get shot!" The guys slid in front of her.
"Kowalski, is it possible that we will outrun them?" Madi asked.
"Let me see..." Kowalski took out his clipboard and made some calculations.
"Well, we got a head start from the smoke bomb, but there's a slim chance we make it." He said.
"That's good enough," Madi said. "But I'm going to make it bigger." She took out a stun gun.
"How many guns do you have?" Skipper asked.
"A lot, but it's a professional agency." Madi said. She shot at the side of another building. It shook, then a piece of the concrete fell and landed on some agents.
"Get ready to jump into the woods!" Madi said. She jumped off the building into the woods by it. The others followed her. Cam and the other agents stopped at the edge.
"Go! Go! GO!" Cam shouted. All the agents jumped off. Madi, Skipper, Private, Kowalski, and Rico stopped to catch their breath.
"Did we lose them?" Private asked. All of a sudden, the tree next to them got shot.
"Nope." Rico replied.
"Retreat!" Madi said and they slid away.
"That's your plan? Run? From the famous Agent Madi?" Skipper asked coldly.
"Oh, you want me to attack highly-trained penguins with guns that can potentially kill me? Ha, like that's any better!" Madi snapped.
"When you escaped them, you got hit a couple of times and it didn't effect you!"
"First of all, those weren't charged, so it doesn't do much. Second, THERE ARE FIFTY PENGUIN AGENTS WITH ONE GUN EACH AND AMO OF 50 IN EACH GUN!! I'd be doomed!" Madi kept sliding. Soon, guns started to shoot. Then there was a hit.
"AH!" Madi cried.
"Are you ok?!" Skipper asked.
"Barely!" Madi replied, "My GOD! If this is what a charged shot feels like, I can't imagine 50 shots of it!" Then Madi stopped.
"There!" She said. The guys stopped too.
"What?" They said. Madi pointed at the building ahead.
"We found Blowhole's Headquarters."
Epilogue
"We did it! We found it!" Madi said.
"Woo-hoo!" Rico cheered.
"By my calculations, WE ARE AWESOME! Yeah, we are awesome!" Kowalski cheered.
"What we've all been waiting for!" Skipper exclaimed.
"Let's go!" Madi shouted. Suddenly, a laser shot past her head.
"Whoa!" She said. She turned around and saw Cam, penguin agents, and unfortunately, General.
"General! I have been looking for you!" Madi said. General took out a big gun. Then he aimed and shot at Madi. She cried in pain.
"NOO!" She exclaimed. Madi fell to her knees and two agents approached her.
"Don't even try! You'll lose anyway!" Skipper said.
"Uh, Skipper, the chances of us winning are 1 and next to noth-OW!" Skipper interrupted him by elbowing him in the gut. Rico regurgitated dynamite and threw it.
"Hit the deck!" Skipper yelled. Skipper, Rico, Kowalski, and Private took cover. The dynamite blew up, throwing penguins everywhere. Skipper got up and tried to find Madi. A police penguin bumped him and pinned him to the ground. Skipper's flippers were tied up and was hauled into a truck. The doors closed, and Skipper was trapped. He got elbowed by another penguin trying desperately to escape.
"Ow!" Skipper said. There was a pause.
"Skipper?"
"What are you doing here?" Madi asked. Cam smiled.
