"Boss, we just brought her in," Al said bluntly.
"Oh, her? Why good god, I know you guys are pathetically weak, but Lune got mugged by a girl? Haha! Aren't you all such good bitches~" The Kid softly purred, sitting back in his office.
The door opened, two mobsters, armed to the beak with knives, dragged along a short female penguin, slightly thin with curled hairs as a result of being beat with fists, she didn't speak, not even evoking a feeling of anger, if anything, she almost looked glad that she was here.
"Excuse us for a moment Al, she looks like she'll make a perfect victim.." The Kid smiled wide.
"Of course, heh," Al chuckled nervously, filing out with the other two.
The door shut with a loud squeak, with The Kid patiently watching this girl look at him with a determined and pleased smile.
"Sooo~ I see you've been making my bitches, YOUR bitches... I mean look at how happy you are, don't you feel so good knowing that The Mob, MY Mob, has nothing on your sweet little ass?" The Kid asked slyly.
"Hell yes~" she answered, empowered.
"Pardon me for when they beat you up earlier, that's just them being a bunch of panty-bunched faggots," The Kid apologetically said.
"It's okay, all that did was tell me they were just a bunch of shits going about stroking themselves," she said.
"Confident girl~ Tell me, why DID you beat up Lune? Heheh, you're not getting punished or anything, I just wanna know!" The Kid begged for an answer excitably.
"The anorexic dodo had a dank ass look to his face, and, he had money, I wanted that fugging money, and I wanted his dumbass smile gone~" she stated as a matter of fact.
"So you beat the shit outta the little bastard for smiling and having money? Wow, what would you do if he threatened you openly?" The Kid asked astonished.
"I would fuck up his skinny ass even more," she replied with enthusiasm.
"Mmm~ A lot like me.. Tell me, what is blood like to you?" The Kid smiled.
"Hell'a fab, it's red you know, just like everything the world I live in is, red," she said.
"You must adore the color red~" The Kid murmured.
"Betcha I do, I practically live in it!" she said excitedly.
"Tell me something dear, are you afraid of me?" The Kid asked challengingly.
"That's why I want your attention. You kill in the most stunning way you frigging can~!" she screamed.
"Hehe.. You have a name don't you~?" he asked.
"Call me Red," she demanded.
"Say my name~" The Kid demanded in response.
"The Kid~" Red stated.
"I'll say yours, Red," The Kid replied with vigor.
"When do I start working boss?" asked Red with a smirk.
"Now.. Step into the light, here~" The Kid cooed with pleasure.
Red stepped forward, one small foot in the light, then her legs and waist, bit by bit, slipping into the sun's rays from the single window in that room.
She had small, dark brown eyes that looked almost like two minuscule almonds on milky white bowls, a thin, but short body that showed a humble figure, with taut skin and bright feathers indicating someone of good health and mundane lifestyle, all capped with hair that had been straight before, cut short with a boyish flair, and to top it all like a crown, a single, thick streak of red hair.
"O-Oh my~ Your hair~" The Kid focused on this one red streak, stroking it softly, sniffing every single strand with adoration.
"What about it?" Red asked softly.
"It's so beautiful~" The Kid purred, sniffing it more, nuzzling his beak into the crown of her head.
Red reached for a switch and dimmed the lights, leaving the window as the only source of light.
"Mmm~ You and I think alike~ And, your hair~ It's so attractive~" The Kid released his grip, softening his gaze.
"Then let's call it a partnership~" Red cooed softly, holding her flipper.
The Kid shook her flipper softly, kissing the wrist.
