My favourite ever scene in Friends has got to be this one. I've forgotten what it's called and I won't get it word-for-word but you get the idea.

Rachel: I just can't leave her! I mean... look at her!
Ross: No! OK? We've got to go!
(Ross pushes her out the door and closes it behind him)
Rachel: Ross, wait!
Ross: No! OK?
Rachel: I need my keys!
Ross: Oh. Ooooooh.
(Ross realizes the door is locked)
Ross: Look, Mum's coming soon and she has a key. Meanwhile, can we go?
Rachel: No! Wait, what was that?
Ross: Nothing! OK? You're just nervous because... wait... what was?... a pigeon?? No! An eagle just flew into the apartment and landed on the stove! And... caught fire! The baby, seeing this, took this as a sign of aggression and JUMPED across the apartment! The bird then grabbed the baby in it's talent and both bird and baby caught fire! Caught in a place of certain death!
Rachel: Boy, are you gunna be sorry if that's true.
