I've been a Christian my entire life. OH SHIT! Stop the presses, a Christian actually believes that homosexuals(and the others too, but I honestly don't feel like typing all of them out) deserve rights!? Holy mother fucking GOD OF ALL SAINTS IN HEAVEN!
Yes, Okay? I believe that everyone, be it gay/lesbian/black/Hispanic/Asian/Jewish/Muslim/Whatever the hell else, deserves rights.
What I don't believe in is prejudice, from any side. Everyone knows that it's human instinct to think that you're better than everyone around you. HOWEVER! It's also human instinct to reproduce and carry on the race-- and unless I'm missing something, same sex intercourse doesn't lead to reproduction. Where I'm going with this is that it's definitely possible to defy human nature. So why do we find it so hard?
I am not saying that I know how it feels to be tortured because of my sexuality (which happens to be very straight- Cause you know I'm all about that dick, bout that dick, NO GINA). I'm not saying that only one particular organization or community (i.e: the LGBT community) is singularly at fault.
As a high school student in a predominantly white christian city, I've seen the most common types of prejudice; a white guy saying that a black guy should be his slave, a white girl calling a white homosexual a fag, a Jewish boy calling a white boy a Nazi. It happens to everyone. At one point in my school career, I heard a black girl say that she was failing because everyone was racist. To which I have to reply: *facepalm*
What baffles me is that this girl seriously thought that the teachers were taking the time out of their day in order to hate her. And not the other very few African American kids in school-- just her. What the actual fuck?
I'm going off on a tangent. Just forget any of that.
I'm going to use a video from youtube as an example.
Today is Friday, January 9. A guy who does drawing tutorials, Mark Crilley, uploaded a video of him drawing Kirito from SAO. As I read through the comments, as I usually do, I came across a comment that said something along the lines of "Why did you draw this faggot? (meaning Kirito)"
Now, I'm not going to get into the whole SAO Lovers VS Haters fight because that's an article for a different time, but COME ON! I don't know who commented that, but they really are one of the stupidest kind of people.
First of all, the title of the video was LITERALLY 'Drawing Time Lapse: Kirito from "Sword Art Online" ' Why in the actual FUCK would you click or tap on a video of someone drawing a character that you can't fucking stand, just so you can insult it? WHAT THE FUCK?
In the same way, Why in the fuck would you go up to someone, knowing that they were homosexual/muslim/Jewish/whatever the hell else, JUST TO TELL THEM THAT THEY FUCKING SUCK?!
Why would somebody take the time out of their fucking day just to point out that someone else likes it up the ass? C'mon, people, grow some fucking brains.

My second, and probably shorter, rant has to do with something that hits a little closer to home. YES. I KNOW THAT CHRISTIANS ARE NOT INNOCENT OF THIS. DON'T FUCKING TELL ME IN THE COMMENTS.
This relates to the somewhat recent shooting in Ferguson, MO.
A close friend of mine sums up what I wan't to say perfectly.
"Okay, I'm not trying to hurt or offend anyone with what I'm going to say, but I'm going to say it, because I feel like it needs to be said. Why is it that there's gay pride everywhere? Why am I being a bitch when I say I'm proud to be straight? Why isn't there straight pride? Because that's hurting gay people? How? And what about Black History Month? Yes, I completely agree, Black History is important. But what about White History? Why is there no White History Month? But by asking why my race doesn't have a designated month, I'm racist, aren't I? Listen, I completely support gay rights, 110%. One of my friends is gay, and he's nice as good be, and funny, and awesome, and he DOESN'T FLAUNT IT IN EVERYONE'S FACE. And I'm a complete and total supporter of racial equality. We're all human, why not treat each other like it? But that goes for BOTH sides. We bust our butts after shit like Ferguson to make sure "Black lives matter". But what about white lives? Do I not matter? And what about that white kid shot by the black cop. Didn't hear about that? Hmm, I wonder why. Because no one gives a shit about that. But it's racist for a white person to defend himself against a black person trying to harm him. No, not every case is justifiable. No, not every black person is bad. I never said that, so don't think that for a second. But hear this; not every white person is racist. In fact, I'm getting sick and fucking tired of being called a racist simply because my skin isn't black. Guess what? America is supposed to be the land of the free. But why do other races get better priveledges? Why do homosexual people get special attention? Because they're just people, just like me. Everyone is just a person, we're all just human, whether we're straight or gay or lesbian or bi or pan. Whether we're white or black or tan or orange or purple. It doesn't matter what gender or sex I like, nor does it matter what color my skin is. The color of my skin doesn't make me any better than you, or we'd all be painting our skin the same color to be the best. And if one sexuality is truly better than the others, wouldn't we all just pretend to be that sexuality? The honest truth is, I don't give a shit who you are, who you like, or what you look like. If you treat me kindly, I'll treat you kindly. We all deserve to make the most of our lives, and that's what everyone should be doing. Go to school. Get an education. Get a job. Stop using excuses to make the government or other people do everything for you. We're all people. And we're all God's people. And we're all supposed to love thy neighbor as thine self. So unless you fucking hate your own guts, I don't get why you're hating mine. This race shit, on both sides, white and black, needs to stop. This disgust for homosexuals needs to end. But both sides need to learn to accept the other. Because you are who you are because God wants you to be that way. So let's all put down our guns, put down our picket signs, get our asses off the ground, and go build a life worth living. Together, as one, because one is stronger than five separate pieces."
My thoughts on this subject are concluded with:
Not every Muslim is a terrorist, just like not every Hispanic is an immigrant, not every Russian is a communist, not every black guy is a member of a gang, not every homosexual man is a pedophile, just like not every Christian person is a racist, homophobic, religious intolerant (except for their own), self-righteous fuck.
Laugh as much as you choose, but you will not laugh me out of my opinion.
