what did you give up for harry potter

Um seeing the new Winnie the Pooh movie i guess. They came out the same day.

i didnt give up anything...i gained so much from it though

i gave up 3 hours of sleep every night thinking about it!

no idea really maybe a potter free life but why would I want that :P

No, not really, I just had to say it. Now...what did I give up? Hmmm...nothing that I can think of. My other interests aren't exactly designed to make me popular so I have no complaints about Harry Potter in that direction.
Although to be honest I'm not as big a HP fan as I used to be, I now just have a mild liking for the books due to the happy childhood memories they awake.

So to get back to the point, I don't feel like I've sacrificed anything for the HP books. They made me happy as a child and as far as I am concerned that makes them invaluable. :)

I got a B on a midterm because I went to the midnight showing and didn't get home till 4:30 ... Hah

All the cool kids at my school loved Harry Potter! Haha

I gave up a friend. Seriously, she hates Harry Potter and is constantly telling me how Twilight is so much better. (It's not though...) and yeah, we fought so much about which is better that we kinda stopped being friends. Yeah. that's how intense it was! XD

I gave 2 weeks of my life, while i read the books :) but it was SO worth it!

A trip to Dallas so that I could be at the midnight premiere of the Deathly Hallows Part 2.

Half of my sister's respect for me, and about half of my time reading, watching, talking about on fanpop, AND dreaming instead of doing other non HP related stuff.
