I agree. Most of everyone else was touched on in some way or the other, there may have been moments that I wished could have been added. But, Peeves not being there.....was weird.

The scene where Dudley said that was in the film but cut. If you watch the movie, it's kind of dramatic & sad & putting that scene in there would've disrupted the mood of the scene. It was more comical in the movie & the book didn't show Hermione performing the obliviate spell.

There are many but I was a bit disappointed not to hear the following in Severus' memories :

"And my soul, Dumbledore ? Mine ?"

I expected it and I really missed it.

no-one explained properly what horcruxes were. surely that was the most important bit in the deathly hallows. isnt it all about finding and destroying the horcruxes. theres a whole bit in the book where hermione explains what they are. its really interesting. would have been good in the film, even if it is just sitting around talking.

Also, in HBP, some of the memories showed that Tom used items that were somehow connected to Hogwarts. Giving Harry & the rest something to go on when searching! Would've shown the Tom only ever felt at home at Hogwarts, much like Harry.

The Battle of Hogwarts in the Half Blood Prince - was the scene I was most looking forward to seeing in the movie but no... we get a pointless scene where the Burrow gets set on fire.

The Quidditch World Cup. You have to admit, that was a really good game. "Ireland wins but Krum gets the Snitch!"

Peeves. Hogwarts just isn't the same without him.

The whole bit between Malfoy and Longbottom. You know, the Leg-Locker incident and "I'm worth twelve of you, Malfoy!"

The logic puzzle.

Harry's 17th birthday.

Harry and the twins being banned from Quidditch.

I could add so much more, but these really pissed me off. And what happened to Dumbledore's chamber pot story from the Yule Ball?

1. Lack of Dobby, Bellatrix, Narcissa, Kreacher, Sirius, Tonks, and other characters

2. Cutting out Draco saving Harry in DHP2

3. No Winky

4. Never explaining how Percy turned on Harry in OoTP

5. Ginny. She was almost irrelevant in the films yet such a huge piece in the books.

6. No Peeves

7. Gave us very little detail on Teddy

Yup. They left out so much, it was just IMPOSSIBLE. I had to explain everything to my dad because he hadn't read the books and had no clue what was going on!

I gotta say Peeves the poltergeist. In the books, he was always doing crazy schtuff, I would have loved to see it. In my opinion, they should have had Tim Curry play Peeves.
